I have been a loyal shopper for 14years (at least 3times a week) until today staff have always been amazing.
This evening I used the till and paid by cash £30 in notes and £10 in coins, when it didn?t register the £2 coin I politely spoke to the team member monitoring the tills, she was very good and called her manager over.
The manger was extremely rude and said that I hadn?t put enough money in
I explained that I had counted the money twice once into my hand and the second time in to the machine
She shook her head at me and said No
So I said so the machine can?t make a mistake
Again very rudely the manager said no it doesn?t
I shook my head as I knew I had placed the correct money in but proceeded to pull out another £2 and place it in to the machine. With that the machine produced my receipt and spat out my £2 coin it originally hadn?t registered.
The manager then rudely shrugged and said you got your £2
I said see I told you I had paid the correct money and you told me that machines do not make mistakes.
The manager did not apologise but instead she sarcastically said bye bye.
This will be the last time I use m & s

Based solely on my experience with the Indian dine-in range, not the store itself, I must express my disappointment. Once a culinary delight, the butter chicken has fallen significantly in quality. While it may not be the absolute worst butter chicken I?ve had, it certainly falls short of the exceptional standards it once achieved.
Tonight, I sampled every dish in the range, purchasing each one. Consequently, I must rate the entire experience a mere 2 out of 10. If you, as the directors of Marks & Spencer, are reading this, I urge you to revisit the methods that made this range so successful.

Never open on time...why most people go to tesco express or the petrol station up the road.

OK for a fast pop in & out. A bit on the small side for me. Also parking can be a problem. Shop is on the High Street, so no big shopping trips here for me. Although some of their products are OK. Mid range prices.

I have mixed feelings about M&S Simply Food. On one hand, I love the convenience of having a small grocery store nearby where I can pick up fresh and high-quality food items. The store is always clean and well-organized, and the staff are friendly and helpful. I appreciate the fact that they offer a variety of healthy and organic options, which makes it easy for me to stick to my diet. However, I do feel that the prices are a bit higher than what I would typically pay for similar products at other grocery stores. I also find that the selection can be somewhat limited, especially when it comes to specialty items or international cuisine. While I appreciate the quality of the products, I often find myself having to supplement my shopping with items from other stores in order to get everything I need.Overall, I think that M&S Simply Food is a great option for those who value quality and convenience over price. While it may not be the most budget-friendly option out there, it's a good choice for those who are looking for high-quality fresh food items in a clean and well-organized setting.

Check the use by dates! I recently purchased a twin pack of steak and didn?t check the date and when I went to cook it the day after I purchased it I noticed that the used by date was the day before I purchased.

Arrived at 8 pm on a Wednesday evening, and the shop looked as if it was closed. No signage illuminated - just lights on behind the single set of doors.Once inside, typical M&S food store
