I had a wonderful experience at Chai Cafe! The breakfast was absolutely delicious?fresh, well-prepared, and beautifully presented. The coffee was perfect, rich in flavor and just the right strength to start the day. The staff were friendly and welcoming, creating a lovely and relaxing atmosphere. This place is a true gem, and I can?t wait to come back for another breakfast and coffee!

Decided to try Chai at lunch time today 14/7/25. Even though they were only half full I sat down and waited and waited and notice some others who walked in after me got served. I waited a bit longer and decided I had become invisible so I walked out and went to the Cafe a little further along the parade. Won't be visiting Chai again!

Ciara has provided exceptional customer service each time we have visited the cafe, she?s always so friendly and cheerful- makes us feel so happy to come and dine at chai and overall makes the experience so much better.
She?s always happy to give her best recommendations too of what cake or sweet treat to have.
Thank you for always going the extra mile to make our visit more enjoyable.

Food took over 45 minutes without any prior warning. For the price of the items and the quality and portion size is ridiculous.

Fantastic place! A friend recommended here and it did not disappoint. Very friendly service on arrival. Both our lunches were amazing and could not fault in anyway whatsoever. We both had a cocktail, again v nice. The cakes looked so good we had a slice each with coffee. I eat ALOT of cake out and about in different places and their chocolate fudge cake was the best I?ve had. We will definitely be back!!

Quality of food and service at Chai really does vary. Most recently we ordered a cake, two coffees and a kids toast. The coffee and cake was quite spaced out (and tasty to be fair), but after 20 minutes there was no sign of the toast? we asked and was told five more minutes (for one slice of toast). After 25 minutes we got a refund and left.

What a lovely cafe with attentive staff. There's outdoor seating in a little garden area at the back of the cafe well away from the high street.

One of the best cafes in Sutton/Banstead in terms of ambient and food. The staff is friendly and the setting is simply photogenic. The coffee and food are also very decent. It?s often busy though so better check beforehand or you may be disappointed.
