My 1st time using Boots and very impressed, a very thorough check-up. My verifocal sunglasses were ready within 4 working days and my normal glasses 6 days. They were perfect 1st time. Staff were very nice too. Highly recommended ?

Been a Boots Opticians customer for 30+ years. Contact lens reward scheme customer for a similar amount of time.They just closed my contact lens reward scheme account without any communication with me, not even letting me know that this was happening. Just saw a refund into my bank.This branch also has a weird policy of not allowing appointments past 4pm for adults, reserved for school children only apparently.

I have been using this store in Banstead for many years and have always had excellent service. My 92 year old mother wanted a second opinion about her glasses that had been prescribed for her by another chain of opticians whom she had used for some time and I suggested that she tried Boots Opticians at Banstead. They were so thorough, patient and kind to her so much so that my mum said she will now not go anywhere else. I really appreciate how much time you gave to her and did not rush her in any way which I think is so important particularly when going for an eye test can be daunting. I would highly recommend

A few of the 1 star reviews are based on views from 5 years ago, or on changing appointment times. Personally I booked online, got an appointment 4 days from then and had no issues.The optician was good and the lady who guided me through the process of getting my frames did an outstanding job. This was my first time getting glasses and the whole process felt personal and I look forward to my pair arriving. Thanks ?

Absolutely disgusted at how my family friend was treated today. He was running late due to having to rush his dog to the vets an hour before he had an appointment. Both him and I continuously attempted to call the store, but no answer. Turned away for something that was beyond his control, no respect was shown. Awful customer service. I worked for boots for 5 years, and spend 2 years as an optical consultant - part of it in lock down! Therefore, I know the rules and how stores work. That is NOT how you treat your patients!

Outdated equipment, impossible to reach on the phone. Being told online I have to wait 7 weeks for an appointment. Custom lost to Specsavers.

Ive been going here for years and have experienced nothing but incredible service. I recently broke my glasses and they were able to give me a new pair within a couple of hours.

Unable to contact by telephone, since merger,complete chaos,computers not compatible,service was excellent in the main Boots shop.If you are thinking of eye care don't go there
