Pennyhill consistently delivers a five-star experience, and wow what a spa. Each room has an individual name and is uniquely furnished. I stayed here on business travel and personal vacation, trying many rooms over about 20 years. The rooms are all loaded with personality. I admit the some of the furniture is looking a bit worn, but as long as it does not get too bad PHP will be fine. The service is always top-notch. Super polite and professional. The common areas like the bar and Hillfield restaurant for breakfast all look great. The bar is a real classic. I had a shot of whiskey and I must say the price was reasonable for a high-end property. The crown jewel of the property is the spa. I will review it separately, but in short it is a real treat with an indoor pool and assorted saunas etc. PHP has the look and feel of a premium property and its status is well deserved. We will return without hesitation.

We stayed for 24 hours as our little post wedding treat from Monday 11th March. The room was beautiful, the food amazing (we ate breakfast, dinner and afternoon tea at The Hillfield), the spa relaxing and the grounds peaceful. More than that, every member of staff we came across made us feel like royalty, we must have been congratulated by every member of staff we came across on our recent marriage. We couldn?t have asked for a better stay and would highly recommend Penny Hill to anyone and everyone.Rooms: LuxuriousFood & drinks: High quality food crafted by a very skilled teamNoteworthy details: Excellent service

We stayed at Pennyhill Park over the weekend. Excellent spa facilities and friendly staff. We didn?t book the restaurants for dinner but had dinner at the bar which they have their own menu. They have a tennis court, indoor and outdoor swimming pools and hot tub! Highly recommend.

Myself and my mother attended the spa and hotel for a mothers day treat and to say I am disappointed would be an understatement. You don't expect when you book a junior sweet and nearly break the bank to have an exceptional experience.Where do I begin? We went for dinner in the bar and once we had ordered our food and then our drinks, we were greeted by a very angry french man who wanted to let us know that he would be playing around with the lights for the evening but will give us a free dessert (we weren't able to leave as we had already ordered our food and drink, even though he had suggested we should probably just leave, funny, right?)We then sat in either pitch black or bright lights for the best part of 2 hours, my mum couldn't even see her dinner, the staff on service were all really lovely and told us some very interesting horror stories about said french man (the dark light actually added quite the ambience to these horror stories) but nonetheless we weren't best pleased. We had a junior suite booked (a little upgrade treat on our side) and were met with the most outdated interior I think I've ever seen? A premier inn would've been better (and no doubt much freindlier staff). a LOT of the toilets etc all closed, no prewarning about ongoing work happening to the hotel, builders everywhere (again not ideal when you're at a spa...)I have however recieved a message to say the service charge was removed and we got a free dessert (attached a picture, but good luck trying to see it thanks to the lighting issues...) so all should be well? Not impressed.(The spa was AMAZING so would deffo recommend that in fairness.)

Staff are always warm and cheerful. Personalised touches here and there were icing on the cake. The spa is a delight and so big that it never felt crowded. 24 hours at Pennyhill Park is just right. I so enjoy this place. Have been back again and again over the last 16 years or so. Saving up to again!

Amazing hotel and spa, everything was wonderful. Special thanks to Georgia in the Hillfield bar who was friendly, efficient and made our stay even more special. She is a credit to the hotel.

We visited most recently as part of a stay for my birthday and honestly, though I had visited before, I was blown away. Our room was upgraded to a stunning double storey suite. The bathroom in particular was impressive- free standing bath tub, Molton Brown toiletries, rain bars, under floor heating. Amazing. We also had a gorgeous hour long massage at the spa followed by the use of spa facilities, the highlight of course being the outdoor hot tub- because the spa facilities are so sprawled out and numerous in quantity, nothing felt crowded as is often the case in other hotels. We had dinner in the restaurant and everything was lovely. We then explored the Games and Billiards Room and had breakfast at the spa in the morning. Staff were so lovely and couldn't be more helpful. Would happily stay again.
