Whilst I only popped into the shop on Saturday late morning briefly so can't comment much on the retail experience i have nothing but praise for the family that run it.
My partner left her handbag in the cafe next door whilst in a bit of a trauma following an horrendous hotel experience in Horsley. We discovered this an hour later when home.The cafe had no phone contact number so I speculatively called the Morrisons. The proprietors wife took enormous trouble to go to the cafe and secure the handbag allowing me to go back and retrieve it.

Exactly what you expect
It's a decent little community shop that sells important bits and also deals with returns on parcels

If the staff spent more time working on their customer service skills and less time smoking outside, the shop would be a better place.

Good little newsagents- has your basic corner shop essentials from newspapers and magazines as well as tobacco, confectionery, drinks including alcohol and the National lottery as well.
