I would 100% recommend dining at Ashtead Balti it?s easily one of the best Indian restaurants I?ve ever eaten at. The atmosphere is warm and cosy, the staff are wonderfully hospitable, and the food is absolutely delicious. The spice levels are perfectly balanced, with a beautiful blend of flavours. Best of all, they happily cater to your preferences a huge plus if you?re a picky eater like me! Hands down, a fantastic dining experience.

If you?re craving authentic Indian flavors, Ashtead Balti is an absolute must-visit! From the moment you walk in, the warm and inviting atmosphere sets the tone for an exceptional dining experience. Their menu offers a fantastic variety of traditional dishes, but the real star is their Balti curries ? rich, aromatic, and perfectly spiced with fresh ingredients.

Genuinely one of the worst curries I have ever had the misfortune of eating. I dont understand all the positive reviews. I honestly pity your taste buds if you think this is edible.
Watery, no seasoning, 0 spice level.
Save your money. Avoid.

Below average uk style Indian takeaway. Butter chicken was completely bizarre (dessicated coconut?).
The curries listed as spicy are not spicy and the pilau rice is the boiled rice but with yellow food colouring (no cardamom, no spices)

I went lot of Indian restaurants in UK. I never ever had delicious foods like Ashtead Balti.Very tasty food. No words. Full credit goes to the chef.But Biriyani portion size is not enough.Very nice and clear environment.we are 100% Satisfied. Highly recommended. Can't wait go again. All the best.

Takeaway served promptly. Both chicken curries were far too sweet with taste of raw sugar. Chicken itself was very tough and poorly prepared. Lamb dish was Ok but nothing special. Bhindi Barji was good as was the Nan. Chicken curries not at an acceptable standard, so will not return.
