Beware!!! Went here and parked in the car park as we're not local. Bar staff said nothing about parking charges or anything else, and have just been slapped with a £100 fine for an hour's parking while we were eating. There is a small sign which says "patrons only while registered at the Crouch Oak". But of course you're not looking for signs inside (which apparently there are) about parking, you're just looking for a pint. Not clear at all and a scam. Should be the first thing staff say when you enter but my guess is they're trained not to because it makes money.

I didn't stay here but it was the nearest pub to my hotel. They have a pool table and the sports channels so I was able to watch the champions league game on that night. Beer was reasonably priced.

Worst and roughest pub in Surrey. Also got fined £100 for parking in the carpark for 15 mins so don?t make the same mistake as me.

I can't tell you what the food is like because it hasn't arrived, and I don't think it ever will do now as the driver has supposedly been at the restaurant ready to pick up my delivery for an hour now and the restaurant has long since closed. This is terrible service. If it ever arrives and the food is fantastic, I still won't be using again. First impressions count for a lot, and this impression has been a woeful one.

On station rd in the main road of the town, found my first Wimpey in 36 years food on a plate tea in a cup and real cutlery oh days gone by the food was excellent bring it back to Glasgow city and townsI would love thatI miss Wimpey don't like Mac Donald's or or burger king you get real meat in Wimpey

Rented a family room one night for 4 people. No breakfast, but a number of cafés within a short walk, so this was not a problem for us. Beds reasonably comfortable, kettle, tea and coffee facilities, private off street parking available. Private entrance and key to come and go as we pleased. Check out at 10 am. Would definitely book again if needed.

Nice and quiet, good value, the first shower I have been in that doesn't leak on the floor, hooray! Comfy beds, biscuits, coffee, TV, what more could you want, ideal for an overnight stay in the area. Close to shops and cafe.

Please don't waste your hard earned money on the food. The rice was so over cooked it resembled porridge. I don't often post reviews but I felt so compelled to write one this as the food was so appalling ?. The photo uploaded is supposed to be prawn 'fried' rice. I would give no stars if Google allowed.

Definitely need to update website pics etc as looked very outdated but on arrival room was newly decorated. Very clean and area has everything you'll need. Room was very warm even with ceiling fan on all night but honestly can't complain. Very happy with room and price
