Thank you to Jayne Edwards who was working the customer service section on Sunday 11th November. After locking my keys and money in my car by accident, Jayne kindly called me a taxi and paid the fare so that I could return home to retrieve my spare car keys. Jayne is an asset to your customer service team as she went way and above her call of duty. What a lovely lady! It's a shame that I have been unable to reach head office via the telephone to express my appreciation of this lady.

Incident at Addlestone Tesco on November 5thI am writing to express my extreme disappointment and frustration regarding an incident that occurred at Addlestone Tesco on November 5th, between 11:15 AM and 11:30 AM. My family and I had come to the store to purchase a toy for a birthday party. We approached the self-checkout area, but encountered a problem with the till, which displayed an error message.While waiting for assistance, I stood at the till with my two daughters, aged 11 and 5, for approximately 5 minutes. Despite our attempts to get the attention of the male staff member responsible for the till, he completely ignored us. My 11-year-old daughter even tried to signal him, but to no avail. Other Tesco customers noticed our predicament and attempted to help, but their efforts were unsuccessful.Feeling ignored and frustrated, I approached the staff member and politely requested assistance. Instead of addressing the issue, he rudely dismissed me, claiming he had other tills to attend to. When I insisted that he had ignored my earlier attempts to get his attention, he became confrontational and threatened to call security to have us removed from the store. This incident left my daughters in tears and caused significant distress, especially for my older daughter, who was so affected by the experience that she started vomiting due to stress. My 5-year-old is now frightened to go to Tesco.I strongly suspect that the mistreatment we experienced was due to my accent or because I was speaking in my native language. Regardless of the reason, such discriminatory behavior is absolutely unacceptable and has left me deeply upset.I urge Tesco to thoroughly investigate this incident and take appropriate action against the staff member involved. No customer should be subjected to such humiliation and distress. I kindly request a prompt and sincere response from Tesco regarding the steps being taken to address this matter and prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future.

No complaints about this store. Friendly staff and produce usually fresh as you would expect from Tesco.

We went for a breakfast today in the cafe only to be told they were out of eggs! 9.30 in the morning with a supermarket below them selling eggs ridiculous ?

Not the best. Only popped in to get a couple of things and found everything we needed but the loos on the ground floor were all out of order and the signs to get to the upstairs ones were a bit rubbish.

Not a lover of big supermarkets but this one's ok. Addlestone Tesco much better then Brooklands Tesco, but that's just my opinion

Again rather disappointed this morning, to walk into the store to find not many sandwich choices (as I was getting my lunch before I start work) and there were barely any croissant options in the bakery (for my breakfast).I?m a little confused as to why lunch and breakfast items are not ready on the shelves for purchasing at the time customers will be coming in for them.This is not the first time either. It?s not good enough! Perhaps I will just go elsewhere for my shopping

Not the best example of a TESCO STORE . The Customer Service Dept. sometimes leaves a lot to be desired . This is ONLY when The SCOTTISH WOMAN is on duty. Not a good representative for the Company. The other members of staff are always pleasant and most helpful.

Never has anything in stock from eggs to frozen sweetcorn to not being able to never having the springforce toilet rolls and being forced to buy 6 rolls for £4. Yet if you go 10 minutes down the road to Brooklands Tesco they always have everything in stock from eggs to frozen sweetcorn and you can buy reasonable priced toilet roll because they always stock springforce toilet rolls.

I have now decided never to shop at this store anymore. They are a big disgrace and not trustworthy. Perhaps racist because this is my 2nd encounter with this store's customer service in 2years.They sold a dirty used Henry vacuum cleaner to me on Sunday 30th April 2023. I discovered this when I opened my purchase on the next morning at home on Monday the1st of May 2023, to my horrification!!! I immediately returned the vacuum cleaner to customer service and a Tesco staff member called Cagin was called to the desk, and when he saw the item he just said "sorry madam we cannot give you a refund for this purchase" without asking me anything. I said if you do not give me my refund you can keep the rubbish you've sold me and I would report this case.I told them to check their many security cameras to trace my tracks in their shop on that day and see how much money I spent in their shop. The price of the vacuum cleaner was £159 but I spent over £200 in that store alone on that day.Eventually they called in Wayne the store manager who said he agrees with Cagin the staff member who refused to give me a refund, but then this manager Wayne, said he would give me a brand new vacuum cleaner instead because they cannot refund my money. Really??? WHY???I let them open this new box and tested it before I accepted it. My only compensation was that Wayne the manager carried the item to my car. This is how I got mistreated at my local Tesco SUPERMARKET in Addlestone.I told Wayne I would never shop there ever again because it's not the first time they have treated me so badly!!For all those reading this, my only advise to you isCheck any boxed product you buy in any store before you walk away with it. They cannot be trusted. I am still very angry about this and I would take it further. Tesco could have avoided all of this if their staff were doing their work properly.I mentioned racist because I am Black and they think I must have changed the vacuum cleaner and that is why they woukd not refund the money. They would never have treated a white person in this way. I refer to my first encounter with this very Tesco branch 2 years ago.

Its Tesco! Easy to navigate if you know what you want and where to find it. Unfortunately, they seem to be moving stuff around all the time.At least you don't have to PAY for a trolley, unlike Tesco Addlestone.

Absolutely atrocious checkout. 1 manned till open, and no segregation between basket and trolley self service checkout so ridiculous queue. Its about time these places started thinking about CUSTOMER SERVICE.

I only shop here because it is convenient, nothing else. I bought 'sushi' twice from the Yo Sushi chiller, but was disappointed with the poor quality of the rice.
