Very frustrating that they don?t serve you at the counter and you have to use screens to order. Won?t be coming here again. Subway have also removed the vegan Philly steak so there are hardly any vegetarian options left now. Very disappointing in 2025.

Really bad customer services refused to serve had to use kiosk. Don?t bother the food was ice cold disgusting.

Completely refused to offer kiosk service, even after I explained why we couldn't use the machines. Very rude and clearly didn't want the business. Will not go there again.

Went in on Saturday, was told only cash transactions at the counter so we had to use the touch screen to order but you cant edit the order to remove things we dont want. Was told this can only happen at the counter but no cards for payment! Sort it out Subway, its 2024 and most people dont carry cash any more!

Went in and it was completely empty, staff insisted I HAD to use the self service terminal which didn't let me order what I wanted so I walked out. Not sure if this is company policy or just this store but it's stupid. I like the food but customer service in subway is always terrible, no matter which one I seem to go in

Veg is sometimes fresh, sometimes not. They try and force you through the card self serve kiosks now and won?t let you use your subway vouchers. I?ll be going to Weybridge instead

No toilet for customers. Ordered subs on the order posts and asked for extra cheese. Subs came but no extra cheese. Tried to buy two fruit chutes, but not listed on machine. Staff tried to charge me for two Oasis drinks instead. I went to Tesco for them instead. Subway is now too expensive for such poor service.

I went to Subway last Friday (28th June) because my Subway app had a half-price footlong deal. So, I went to the Addlestone Subway around 7:45 PM (the store closes at 8 PM). I told the staff I wanted to order the half-price footlong deal, and she asked me to order via the app. I explained that I preferred to order at the counter as I wasn?t very familiar with the menu, but she insisted I use the app. I said okay and tried to order online, but the app didn?t let me because it was near the closing time (7:50 PM). I informed the staff that the app wouldn?t let me order, so she agreed to take the order at the counter.
I requested three half-price footlongs. She said ?OK? and started taking my order. After about 5 minutes, the food was ready, and I went to pay. She said I could only buy one footlong at half price, and the other two were full price, totaling nearly £20. I was shocked when I heard the total price, as I told her from the start that I wanted to order the 3 footlongs for the half-prize deal, and she agreed and didn?t say nor explain at the beginning that the deal would have applied only for one.
I didn?t want to argue, so I paid for the food, even though I hadn?t intended to spend £20. I didn?t argue because both staff members couldn?t speak English, which frustrated me. And for the overall food ordering process, we had to repeat and ask couple of times questions as they would not understand what we were asking for, and they were not even clear at what they were saying, as they couldn?t speak English. Indeed, when they asked me to choose toppings, I wanted to ask questions about how to choose as I was new to Subway, but the staff couldn?t understand me. When I initially placed the order, I clearly said three half-price footlongs, but they didn?t understand, and I ended up paying more than I planned.
I?m not allergic to anything, but in restaurants and takeaways, it?s the shop?s responsibility to clarify any allergies. However, the two staff members couldn?t answer simple questions so how they going to assist staff with allergy, this is concerning of customers health.
Lesson learned: I will never go to the Addlestone Subway again because I don?t want to waste my money where the store manager can?t ensure at least one staff member speaks English. I will raise this complaint with Subway's main complaints team.

Nice cozy place now with order machines which is great for people with anxiety. Really would have rated higher as one of the staff was really nice and our food was good. But I saw the other staff member mess up an order and instead of starting over they just scraped off the wrong food and put it on a different sub. Which is obviously a huge red flag in food hygiene.
We also had to wait around 15mins for our food and the machine is automatically on footlong so we accidentally got two of those and extra.

food tastes good, absolutely no atmosphere what so ever. I went in there once and the employee standing behind the counter started putting things in my sandwich even though I hadn't asked for anything yet. Quite expensive for what it actually is, I mean it's just a sandwich at the end of the day. in my local subway the have added in these screens that you can order on. they are useless because you can't even customise your food.
