Joined the super long queue for the post office this morning expecting to wait for hours, was pleasantly surprised the queue went down quite quickly. I was served by Gareth, he was so polite and a pleasure to meet (unlike his female colleague mentioned in several other reviews!). I left the post office with a smile on my face, not normally my experience! I hope to be served by Gareth again in the future. He's really changed my experience of the Addlestone Post Office!

Staff always extremely friendly and as long as you avoid Monday mornings, you don?t have to wait long.\\nQueues during Covid very orderly and everyone keeps their distance. Marking on the floor are a great reminder to people ??

Horrendous experience here today - Very very rude young woman called SHARON who served me, rolled her eyes at me for no reason, roughly handled the parcels I was posting, bent them, damaged them and then glared at me and asked me to ?speak up? (I had a mask on) then said I was raising my voice... then refused to serve me.... All because I didn?t want my parcels damaged and I dared to object.... I have had a horrible attitude from SHARON before, But had put it down to being a stressful job in these current times... But it?s happened too many times now... she should not be working in a customer facing role.

Always a line at this post office, friendly staff but processes are very long and makes waiting very frustrating when all you want to do is post a letter. They need a separate line for people who want to simple tasks like posting of letters and small items. Expect to wait up to 30mins when there are others being served.

Went in today to collect a package. I was asked when it was delivered, no date written on the card and Iâ??d been home all previous day and that day, but only noticed the card when checking the post today, did say it could have been yesterday, but â??no date written on the cardâ?. Lady told me to come back tomorrow, without even checking. Felt like an inconvenience to her, when now itâ??s a huge inconvenience to me, the customer, because she refused to do her job and check. I did track and trace online when I got home and could see the parcel was there at the post office waiting for me to collect from previous day delivery, if only sheâ??d been bothered to check.
The staff are like chalk and cheese, one gentleman chats for England and is very pleasant, the rest lack any customer service or personal skills.

Staff unable to quote me the cheapest price without full explination. Very unhelpful and simply go elswhere now.
