Russ and the lovely lady and guys on the ground floor get 100 stars.
The branch manager - on the contrary - is why the review has 4 stars instead of the 5 stars that Russ and the guys deserve.
Russ has been superb. It is always great pleasure working with professionals, it makes life so much smoother and easy. Russ has a constant smile, very laid back, creates magic on the design front, and nothing was too much of a problem. Thank you so much Russ!
The lady on the ground floor (she was leaving to another branch) is lovely, helpful and so approachable. I scribbled her name on a post it note that got lost in the zillion of kitchen notes. A lovely lady who is eager to help.
The guys at the ground floor went out of their way to help and serve, lovely lovely guys, they deserve a medal for their professionalism and customer service excellence. Thank you so much!
The manager lady needs to be sent to a customer service course. She refused a simple request, refused to come down to meet me because she had a meeting (!). Her attitude is complete opposite to that of the team on-site, she does not seem to appreciate that a manager role is to serve customers and customers are more important than meetings. The rudeness of refusing to come down to speak with me stunned me. Shame, she costs Howden a star because the team gets from me 100 out of 10.

Good quality products. The staff are nice when you first go in for a quote etc. Once the process begins and you?ve paid, however, lots of issues began. The staff member we dealt with for most of the process was extremely rude and threatening at times. We got the wrong amount of supplies upon first delivery. Then they took excess money from us because we had ?excess? supplies. We didn?t. We finally just had the right amount. This money was never returned, despite my many attempts at resolving it. Would use Howdens again but not this specific branch sadly.
