Came for a meal in the private function room and I can honestly say it?s the worst meal I have ever eaten! The lamb was completely inedible and had clearly been reheated in a microwave. We mentioned how bad the food was to the staff who completely ignored the comments. Worst food I?ve ever experienced

Nice place with great breakfast and great staff, nice and clean, sadly found not enough staff so sometimes a long wait for table or drink, never the less recommended and a great location.
Rooms: Nice size.
Nearby activities: Located in town so plenty to do in walking distance

The last time I was here I left a great review because the service was really great but this time me and my friend didn?t even get to sit down! We were looking at the restaurant and a blonde woman member of staff yelled at us from the bar ?You can?t sit in there? which was incredibly rude and disrespectful there are better ways to talk to potential customers so we decided not frequent the place at all and I have noticed that others have had a problems!!!

Sadly not as inviting as the other cosy pubs in the area, felt restaurant was more kitted out like a Premier Inn. Food very very average.

We travelled from Ipswich for a family lunch and had a reservation for Sunday roast. There was staff shortage and it took ages to get our order taken and then for food to arrive. Some items were sold out and unavailable, including meats, we had to improvise. Everything felt rushed. Don't go on a Sunday or make sure you are there first. We won't be returning.

A well stocked bar with with a good variety of beers. Friendly service from bar staff with plenty of room to sit, chat and enjoy a drink.

Arrived for drinks 02.12.24 Sunday just after 12.00 service was terrible.Felt sorry for the young guy behind the bar,who was polite, but was making drinks for tables,where people had food And trying to make bar drink.Why was he left to do everything, with no help from the other lady,who I think was the manager ,when I asked if she could take my order,she barked at me no.
Will not be returning .

Perfect location in Woodbridge in this modernised hotel. Staff were super friendly and service quite relaxed and chilled out. Room was spacious and bed comfortable.
Rooms: Spacious room. Lively atmosphere in the bar in the evenings so may be some noise if you go to bed early.
Walkability: in the centre of Woodbridge with easy walks around the town and the Deben.

Lovely Pub right in the heart of Woodbridge with ample off road parking. Staff are very helpful and friendly. The rooms can get very hot but they do provide a (large!) fan. Whether you get a bath with shower or walk in shower depends on the room you are in.

The hotel is beautiful and the staff are wonderful. Unfortunately our evening meal was disappointing and the bar was empty by 10pm which was a shame as we thought we'd be having a nightcap in a lively atmosphere. Our room was gorgeous and quiet for most of the night and although it was nothing to do with the hotel we got woken up at 5am with a couple having a full blown loud conversation underneath our window so had an unsettled night other than that couldn't fault the room we had a comfortable bed and it was beautifully decorated. Breakfast was really good which made up for our evening meal.
Rooms: Our room no.1 was beautiful and quiet (forgetting the rude couple who were chatting loudly at 5am!) But other than that such a peaceful relaxing room
Nearby activities: Go for a walk by the river which is a 5 minute walk from the hotel it's gorgeous
Walkability: In walking distance of shops and the river perfect location for exploring
Food and drinks: Really disappointing evening meal what we ordered looked nothing like the pictures on social media which is why we chose the starter we did
