Disappointed they no longer keep Adnams Bitter. They have Broadside but that's a bit heavy for lunchtime.

Excellent local pub that just oozes character and atmosphere. They serve a great selection of drinks at reasonable prices and the menu & specials are wide ranging and reasonably priced as well. This is definitely the best pub in the area and is very popular with locals so there may be queue at times but it's worth the wait. If you're staying in the area, The Meat Shed, Pump St. Bakery and the village shop over the road are all well worth a visit as well.

Had the week in Orford at new year. Best pub in village for us. Very friendly, great selection of beers and food. Very well organised.

We stopped for food and a drink ,food was amazing so much so we had lunch and dinner here ,had the homemade curry gorgeous,the service was really good ,only negative which is a preference is maybe some soft music for background,but definitely will be back ??

Popped for a bite to eat after mooching round Orfird Castle.
A good selection of beers (all from Adnams) plus the usual selection of lagers and ciders.
My wife and I only wanted a light bite, so we ordered a tuna & sweetcorn sandwich for her, and I had the fish finger baguette. Both came with a small salad garnish, drizzled with a honey and mustard dressing (really good) and a small handful of salted tortilla chips (not a huge fan, personally). The tuna & sweetcorn sandwich was really good, but hats off for the fish finger baguette. Honestly, I've had smaller bits of cod when ordering fish and chips!! Really can't recommend this any higher!!
