Booked a Mother's Day lunch special and the whole party thoroughly enjoyed it.Lovely savoury items with a good selection for veggies and meat eaters and then a good wide mix of cakes and scones to follow.Friendly, attentive service and busy, buzzing atmosphere. This place always delivers great food and service - thoroughly recommended.

NOW MAEVES TEAROOM. went with friends after being recommended. Coffee nice but very small cups and expensive. I ordered toastie with no coleslaw as I don?t eat dressings. Still came with something resembling coleslaw which my husband ate so I was left with just a toastie. No side salad or crisps or anything. Absolute rip off. SO EXPENSIVE Although tasty it wouldn?t have cost more than 50p to make. Friends then ordered cake (choice was poor so we didn?t have anything) and they both said it wasn?t pleasant. One said it was the worst Bakewell cake he?d ever had!!! We won?t be back!!!

Smallest coffee cup ever! What are you thinking?! You can?t even hold it the handle is tiny - it?s like it?s from a child?s tea set! The food was ok and service very friendly but very overpriced for what we had. I?m all for supporting local businesses but would not return - the coffee is literally 3 mouthfuls and it?s gone - for 3.50? Don?t rip people off

The food here was delicious and the staff were very friendly ? especially the girl on the till (I didn't catch her name). The only thing I didn't like was how the manager talked to his staff. He came off as quite snappy and agitated, and I felt quite awkward hearing it. As someone who used to work as a waitress back in the day, I can understand it can get stressful ? but being rude to your staff is no good!

Christine's is under new ownership and they have carried on where the previous owners left off, good food,very good coffee and the jewel in the crown is the garden, nowhere in Woodbridge has somewhere so pleasant to sit on a hot sunny day with shade from big trees and brollies to sit under. Food and drink have always arrived promptly from friendly staff. It would be 5 star but it's fairly expensive, and can anyone tell me why flat whites are more expensive everywhere? they are just espresso and milk like all the other coffees, same amount of coffee but less milk than lattes and cappuccinos. No reason is the answer if you were wondering.

I hear that it is under new management, it seems better organised and the service is quicker than I recall. The food and drinks I ordered were great as always. I enjoyed the sausage bag for breakfast, my only criticism was that the banana slice was a little bland for my liking. The staff are as always very friendly.

Lunch in a lovely sunny courtyard was very enjoyable. Menu is limited and a little pricey for what we had. Choices were limited for vegans.

I visited the cafe today with a friend for lunch, and there were dirty dishes all over all of the tables. i had a lovely waitress, but when i went to order my meal i asked the member of staff at the counter which meals were alright for vegans and he suggested one which i took a fancy to, however i was extremely disappointed when it finally arrived (after being given to the wrong table) to find that it was not in fact vegan as it had lashings of butter on it. they took it back after lots of confusion and made me a new one, however the food was bland and much too expensive for what i received. i was very disappointed and did not receive any kind of discount for the multiple issues that occurred during my visit.

i was very disappointed. our food was given to other people and when it was given to us my friends food had butter on it even though she said specifically that she was vegan. all the tables had dirty dishes and the staff where acting very distracted and unprofessional. so overall it was not what we expected and definitely not worth the price payed. We will not be returning.

Just visited Christine's the coffees were tepid, and scones took ages to appear so coffees cold by the time the food arrived, apparently in the past this place offered good service but I was totally unimpressed today.Will not be returning.

Went for lunch there after a long walk round Martlesham Wilds. Couldn't be better. Food was delicious and well presented. Fig and mozzarella open sandwich original and tasty. Surroundings lovely and service excellent. Thoroughly recommended.

My favourite coffee spot in Woodbridge! The staff are really friendly and very personable. The coffee and food are also delicious. Highly recommend!Vegetarian options: Lots of veg choices!

Gorgeous walled garden outside. Lovely staff. Called for a cream tea. Very pleasant but hardly yorkshire portions. Bigger scones please. Only downside was our pot of tea was cold we got extra hot water to warm it up but that was lukewarm too. Hope it's just a blip because a lovely place.

Gone downhill. Apart from a lot of the menu unavailable even though it was lunchtime, what I got was a toasted sourdough sandwich with freezing cold filling of tomatoes & mozzarella. They had toasted the bread, then just put filling in straight from the fridge. This is not good food, it?s something a teen with no experience would do. More worrying, the entire place is grimy & dusty inc toilets. The sanitiser stands are filthy. I had to stand by the kitchen to queue for the loo & noted the dire state of it. I can forgive clutter, but looking at the dirt, dust & obviously rarely cleaned areas made me feel inclined to cancel my order. Not enough staff, definitely not enough cleaning. I will not go there again.
