Only went here for a quick drink.
Start by saying the lady behind the bar was lovely, very friendly and helpful. Told us the best place to go for food, as they were not doing grub at that time.
Two different places you can sit at in the garden area.
Recommend this pub, they are starting to serve food again but check before.

We happened upon this gem of a pub during our overnight stay in Shottisham. We ate here for dinner and although the pub wasn't very busy, the few people inside were very friendly and the landlady was welcoming.
We had the fish and chips and were not disappointed. The meal filled the large plate to overflowing. The fish was delish. White flakey fish and a deliciously light batter.
The local Ale, Sutton Ale was lovely

Very welcoming. We had a sunday lunch was very nice . We were also able to have our dog with use in a part of pub .

friendly place, lovely lady that owns it, let us stayed in the car park (removals truck) ,had dinner and breakfast very good value for money, very welcoming !!! Highly recommended !!!!**Even had a pool table bonus**

Visited on a Saturday lunchtime after a walk with the dogs. A lovely friendly place. Had a conversation with the super friendly Landlady about dogs. The Sutton Ale was very tasty and a great pint. Definitely recommend a visit here.

Came here for a drink and was made to feel very welcome, so much so, we returned in the morning for a fabulous breakfast. Our dog was made a fuss of which is always a big plus point for me. See you again very soon as want to try that carvery!
