Recently (with the past year?) been taken over and some things are better. The decor is more modern and "luxe" (if a bit "Essex"). Seems to be trying to emulate The White Horse in Ridgewell a little but still keeping more of its country charm than that particular establishment. Firstly, this has such a lovely country pub feel to it - especially in winter, with the fire lit (the fire smelled so nice). Spotlessly clean, lovely decor and comfy seating.
