The staff are friendly enough but that should really be the minimum expectation. The food, however, was very poor. I ordered a ham and cheese toastie (was charged for two.. more on that later) .. the ham was a little tough and more like bacon.. the cheese once it started to cool was like chewing rubber bands! I had to break the strands with my fingers lest I choke to death! Back to what they charged me.. so I ordered one toastie and was charged for two. I pointed this out and after a round of back and forth with the staff they finally worked out how to refund me. Then I was told it could take two days for the refund to go through! Disgraceful. Toasts mistake and I have to pay for it.. there's really no excuse for that. To top it off I realised later they got the refund wrong as well.. admittedly only a penny but come on guys! So all in all an unpleasant experience. Would not recommend

Come to Sudbury to visit family, found this independent coffee shop and was served by a lovely lady named Steph accompanied by her colleague jean, provided great customer service! Coffee was great and a great selection of toasties! Will visit again when next in Sudbury!

Amazing coffee, amazing toast and amazing staff. Jean, Steff, Rose, Brian, Caitlin, Jack and Kayleigh work so hard and do their utmost best to make their customers happy. We recommend this place above all of the other coffee shops. Well done ?

Toast is by far the best coffee house in Sudbury. It is clean, efficiently managed and the drinks and food are excellent. The staff are warm and welcoming and always up for a chat and a bit of banter! We have known Carl, Steph, Brian and Jean for many years they are the best!

My favourite place for coffee in town. Always welcoming and helpful. I usually go in on the way to work half asleep, Jean, Steph, Brian, Carl & Caitlin make a fantastic oat latte and I always leave more awake and happy than I went in. Everyone that works there is happy to go the extra mile to help. :)
