This Opticians set the bar when it comes to Excellence in Customer Service. If you want a quick in and out the door service, Drage & Tozer isn't the Opticians for you as these people will invest their time and experience in you but not only looking at your eyes, they spend time looking at your requirements too...simply refreshing!After my recent experience with Drage & Tozer, they are now my go-to from this day on.

I called in to get a small fault repaired on my glasses ( bought elsewhere). I was greeted politely, the glasses were mended and returned to me in less than five minutes and I was not charged for it Fantastic service .Faith now restored in humanity.

I love Drage and Tozer! My family love that I feel so supported by such an amazing team of specialists. The last 2 years has been very frightening at times: waking up and finding my chronically dry eyelids suddenly stuck to my eyeballs was a wake up call. I really hadn't taken good care of my eyes. Now I had to learn: how to unstick them, how to manage Blephritis, and how to proactively protect my now fragile retinas. I've lost count of how many times my eyes have been monitored with Drage and Tozer's latest equipment, usually the reserve of hospitals. Every time I've called I've been seen within a day or two, or even just hours... even during COVID.Today it was Helen who gave me the wonderful news that my chronic dry eyes arenow not only stable again (I have successfully learned to manage them), but that the results of all the tests she did today on their even newer machines,, reveal i have really healthy eyes. I can't tell you how good this feels to not only just be told, but to patiently been shown..Thank you so much Drage and Tozer for your vision of the best and most affordable health care for eyes for everyone.

D& T have looked after me very well over the last decade and longer. They assisted in getting me early cataract surgery via Moorfields in London (in contrast to the dreadful service at Broomfields) which was successful - particularly when one required post-operative laser treatment - also at Moorfields but D & T diagnosed it first. I have had a couple of pairs of defective frames through them and these have been changed or repaired without quibble. Sadly, their recently introduced charging structure and policy disenfranchises NHS funded patients so I am now attending another local independent optician instead and hence the 2 stars on this review; they are very competent opticians but no longer for me.

I have been going to Drage & Tozer since I was a young child and they have always been incredibly friendly and welcoming. Their knowledge, expertise and modern equipment helped to catch an issue in one of my eyes early on so it could be treated before it worsened. I would strongly recommend them to anyone!

My family have used Drage and Tozer for the last - probably 20 years and I am sorry it has taken me this long to write this review. We have always had the most professional, experienced and thoughtful experiences with the team. What spurred me on to actually write a review, and I've only written about 3 in total is that all the above remains true and I trust Helen completely, but the additional kindness shown to my 95 year old father with dementia and complex eye health needs has been outstanding. I would particularly like to mention Rachel who was so caring and understanding of the additonal challenges in selecting and fitting new glasses for my father. Thank you to all

I have seen many opticians but no one gave me bespoke service like Helen and her team. I had some very specific problems with my visual fields at work Helen listened to all of my issues and came up with the perfect solution. Highly recommend this business.

After having bad service at another optician's, I went to Drage & Tozer, an assistant named Samantha helped me, after I explained the problems, she advised me, she was so friendly and professional, I'd just like to thank her for all her help, now have a great pair of specs, won't go anywhere else from now on ???????
