Some Costa coffee shops have poorly trained staff, awful hygiene standards, inexcusable bad coffee making and dirty. But Sudbury town centre Costa delivers better standards and all but one staff member can make a decent flat white.

We went into Costa coffee today Friday 13th sept?..no that?s no not applicable in this case , the staff were really friendly and each of the three young ladies who served me entered into a little chat. How nice that was?.thank you.

Personally we love their coffee, the food isn't too bad either.
The staff are friendly although I think it's very much under staffed as its not as clean as it use to be.
The outside area is so full of weeds, a huge broken umbrella which broke last summer & is still there, over flowing ash trays & filthy tables & this is such a shame, could be a very nice place to sit otherwise.

Been to many costa's but this coffee shop is huge. Wasn't at all busy and received my drink within seconds which goes to my local where I have to wait ages and extremely friendly staff. However, having explored the area, returned back for lunch which again was good service but the toilet on the other hand was disgusting so minus 1 star.

Popped in this morning. Staff too busy talking to a colleague that had clearly popped in for a chat. No bread or confectionery. Was given a small in my reuse cup, so when I apologised for interrupting the barista's conversation to ask for a bit more milk, I was stared at, and had my cup filled to the medium cup it was whilst the barista blank faced continuing to stare at me! Awful customer service! If you don't want to work in retail then I suggest you get a different job!

Basically we sat at the back and there was this lady shouting and throwing stuff and shouting she then continued to threaten us but the staff even tho we had videos said she wouldn?t do that and kicked us out absolutely disrespectful and the lady was violent rude

Amazing staff and service. My daughter is Autistic and feels so comfortable here. She draws them pictures and they display them. They don't know what they've done for her confidence and self esteem. She has anxiety anywhere else but here totally at home. Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts. Also the coffee is great ?

I know it's a chain and you should support local businesses. But their coffee is so much better here. The staff sre slways smiling and happy to serve. Extra points if the ever cheerful Lauren is serving. Also it beats the other chain coffees in town as it is spacious, doesn't feel like they have crammed as many seats in as possible to the point of uncomfortable.
