I would like to give a special thank you to Shaun for the extra help he provided with my kitchen decisions. He went above and beyond to make sure everything was clear and that I felt confident with my decisions to come. His knowledge, patience and attention to detail made the whole process much easier and understandable I appreciate the time and effort he took to explain everything and ensure I was happy. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The store feels smaller than other Wickes. There is frequently items out of stock or very minimal stock, which is frustrating when trying to complete a job.
There is often some good deals to be had though for either damaged or discontinued items.

I returned some unopened boxes of tiles, which were left over from new kitchen installation. They were over the returns time limit but the manager kindly refunded me. Thank you very much. Member of staff who served me was very helpful as well.

Good place to get what you need if you do alot of DIY
Some products are great quality..some are good..and obviously you'll find bad stuff or not good quality stuff like you'll find anywhere else ...especially if you order it and not getting it yourself from the store

I would like to highlight the excellent customer service we received from Crispin Easter when we finalised the details for the new kitchen we're purchasing from Wickes. He was extremely patient when bombarded with our questions and was able to offer helpful advice and support. He went above and beyond and it has been a pleasure having him guide us through the myriad choices to a successful outcome. Thank you, Crispin!

Decent DIY store, reasonable prices

Worst customer service I?ve ever dealt with- Do not expect any customer service if there is an issue.
Ordered a kitchen from them instore, when they delivered they missed items (not great but it happens). As we had kitchen fitters coming 2 days later they said they?d send the missing part next day. It didn?t arrive and this is where it became horrendous dealing with them.
Instore team said it was sent next day, but to contact customer services, we did they said it wasn?t sent next day as the ?are unable to do that?. Instore team then showed us the emails from customer services where they told them it was next day (they even forwarded me the email trail!). In store team said that customer services are dreadful and often treat them horribly and suggest we raise a complaint through customer relations. Customer relations tell us we have to raise with customer services.
We get fed up and raise a complaint through their website form. This goes to customer services who tell us to contact customer relations.
Basically they want you to give up.
Plus I?ve got copies of emails between the instore team and customer services (which they should never have sent me) and the way the customer support team talk to the in store team was horrendous.
We never got the item, we lost a few hundred pounds in fitters fees as they had to come back an extra day due to the missing item not arriving (which they sourced from elsewhere themselves in the end)
Avoid at all costs as if something goes wrong they are 0 help and their system is design to make you give up.

Was asked for ID to buy spray paint at the ripe old age of 35! Wouldn't have annoyed me so much if I hadn't recently bought an axe and a huge maul there without needing to provide ID. Bit ridiculous, the lady was clearly being pedantic in my opinion.
