Travelled up from Sussex, very friendly team, great food, superb venue for bike or car meets, easy parking next to the tables ?

A wonderful relaxed and friendly atmosphere. The food is freshly prepared but there can be a wait for it. There is a good selection on the menu to suit all tastes.A great place for families and very child friendly.
It is truly unique!

A hidden gem for Southwold. Loads of space, lots for kids young and old to do, and great food at excellent value.
Been a family favourite for many years.

Ann and her colleagues do a lovely job running the place. Food is fresh and very well priced. Great atmosphere in the summer and only a shame it isn?t open all year round but I understand the reasons for it not!
Good work :)

Totally agree with previous reviews, very unassuming place but it REALLY is a hidden gem found while on a mini bike tour along the NCN31 with my wife. Well worthwhile leaving the touristy (and pricey) bits of Southwold. A cracking breakfast roll and cafetiere for me and a tea and ham sandwich for my wife, all excellent quality and VERY tasty. Highly recommended for anyone grounded i.e. not up from London!

We had an amazing time at the Pit Stop cafe and would highly recommend. We came every day for the week we were in Southwold as it was the perfect place to bring our young kids. Loads of toys and bikes and incredibly friendly staff.

The Ritz it ain't but quirky, cheap and good food it is. Missed out on the specials as they had some work being done inside. But the menu still has plenty on it!

Arriving on holiday we were very lucky to notice the Pitstop cafe sign on York road . We had driven round and round looking for a parking space so we could get some lunch after a long journey. The welcome was very friendly and helpful. As mum does not have a huge appetite. We decided on a toastie to share and a bowl of chips . The lady was very helpful and gave us an extra plate no problem. The toastie was good but the salad was delicious. Freshly prepared and a huge variety from radish to grapes . Thank you very much for our delicious lunchKid-friendliness: There was everything a child would love to play on or with in a safe space

Was recommended by a friend, kids had a great time playing on the bikes and tennis courts. Staff are friendly and helpful, all round a lovely afternoon will definitely be recommending to others and returning next time we are in the area.

Stumbled across the café while on holiday but clearly a hit with the locals too. Fabulous little ?hidden gem? by the tennis courts near the golf club.
