Came here for dinner with my family and the food was excellent. So much choice on the menu, I honestly could have had 3 starters, 3 mains and 3 desserts. The food was great and service likewise. Would 100% recommend.

A return visit, which was a slight disappointment.
The menu seems to have changed with less Seaford. My partner had scampi and chips, the portion of scampi was big, probably too big. I went for smoked haddock, leak and potato gratain - this seemed to be dominated by potato, but was very good, the addition of broccoli on top was a nice touch.
The restaurant is fairly narrow, and with people walking past to the beach huts outside and the toilets it is busy if you are seated toward the rear of the main building- the restaurant has to work with what the building allows, it may be best to have a table at the front.

Delicious food and amazing with allergies. So impressed with this restaurant and how they dealt with our multiple dietary needs including coeliac- gluten free, dairy free and nut and sesame allergy. The food was stunning!

Disappointed with the cheese scone, heated without being asked and very mediocre compared to how they used to be. Flapjack was as soft and pappy, all sugar and fat, should be more of a toffee/caramel binding.

There are many cafes in Southwold. Not been here before. But will definitely come back again. Lovely breakfast and great coffee. Locally sourced ingredients which is always bonus.

Unique cafe with seaside huts at the back serving as booths. Reasonably priced as well, we had coffees and muffin/flapjack, paid about £13 for 4 items! Friendly staff too.

Came here twice in one holiday. Highly recommend the sausage and mustard mash! The full English for breakfast was very tasty and filling. Perfect start to the day and wonderful hospitality. Would love come again in future.

Came to Southwold for the day,booked Coasters restaurant before we came, am so glad we did the food was absolutely amazing, delicious, beautifully cooked! The staff are so lovely and welcoming, will be back. Thank you!

I'm not sure why this place gets top reviews. It's average, with food of the frozen, brought-in-type. Service is good. More of a sandwich if you're passing than a good fish and chips venue.
