Lovely stay away. Excellent pub, accommodation, food and staff, couldn't fault it! Very dog friendly which is lovely.

The Westleton Crown: suspiciously quiet, like it?s holding its breath. Tried to book a large table?bar staff seemed completely disinterested and said ?just book online?. Very little food was seen, but what did appear looked fine?didn?t risk it ourselves. Honestly, glad we didn?t book?especially after reading other reviews, it sounds like they can?t handle bigger tables anyway. A pub that could be charming? if it tried.

Great place to eat, although the menu online is not up to date, they no longer do sandwiches, just small plates and main meals. We went for the small plates to share and they were all lovely

5 stars because it is literally 2 minute walk from where we were staying.
1 star because I can't give it 0 stars!
We came to the westleton crown with high expectations of a lovely meal in a warm inviting pub, sadly that experience didn't happen.
The front of house staff was lovely, Vanessa was particularly attentive and friendly BUT our order was lost, it was retaken but still the meals did not arrive, we we promised it was being delt with and that the kitchen 'were on it' clearly they were not!
We wanted to give the kitchen the benefit of the doubt but after AN HOUR AND HALF ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!
We left with no apologies from management, an unprofessionally run mickey mouse pub masquerading as a quality restaurant!

Pretty much average. Room was OK - the lunatic barking dog was a pain, though. The food was OK, but the service from Evie was really good.

We have been to the Westleton Crown number of times and every time we come the service just keeps getting better and better. Great staff. Our main courses were delicious, (chicken burger and the exceptional cauliflower steak) however, would not recommend the Eton Mess dessert. Very disappointing served on a plate of melting mallow and meringue. Will visit again and highly recommend otherwise

The staff could not be more charming. The vegan breakfast was delicious, freshly cooked and served perfectly. We really liked the chamomile tea which was in our room and also the fact that you serve good old fashioned filter coffee at breakfast not something out of a press- button machine! That's all you need!
We love the Chestnut group and look forward to staying in some more venues. We have done two and both were top experiences.

We didn't have the best room (window opens onto main road, no wardrobe or storage space) but the bed is marvellous, staff are great, dogs allowed everywhere, lovely gardens and green spaces, good breakfast, pretty good food, well stocked bar and the location brilliant to explore the Suffolk coast. Recommend a stay.

Had a bar snack, very disappointed with the menu and the actual food, chips uncooked, had run out of curry sauce, no alternative sauce or condiments offered, friendly service just a very poor experience, will not be eating there again.

Just returned from a wonderful stay at the crown we had the most wonderful time room was perfect, food was excellent service was given with a smile ? we were celebrating our 46th wedding anniversary and our dog Barney came too so lovely the care for our pet the little things in our room for him.The room was immaculately clean, the toiletries were luxury but more important customer service was outstanding and the food was so so good we cannot wait to book again thank for a wonderful stay .

One of the best Sunday roast! We?ve been to a few Chestnut Group pubs and this is defo up there! Charlie and Lee were excellent host and provided excellent service. Defo come back again.
