A tiny, award-winning real ale pub. Very old fashioned - the way pubs used to be, with an ever-changing range of local ales, ciders and lagers from small breweries. No bar - drinks are served from a taproom door and ales are served straight from the cask via gravity. Wines, spirits and soft drinks are carefully chosen and are mostly locally made or organic. Traditional games including bar billiards. Just simple food - but customers are welcome to bring their own food to share. Beautiful outdoor courtyard with shelter & lighting. Parking is alongside the pub, double parking is encouraged, plus there is a field up the road for overflow parking
