From a chef my duck was amazing cooked perfectly. Atmosphere was great we came in on our holiday and it was an open mic night, would recommend it

Just had a really lovely meal at the Chequers Pub.
We ate there last year and thought we would pop back and try it again. Just as good as last year. The sweet was to die for. Definitely recommend this pub.Proper village pub with excellent food 5 stars.

Well done friston chequers the first pub iv eaten in where a slimming world person can actually have a sweet, a bowl of fresh fruit. Salad without dressing or on the side is the way forward
The Friston Chequers is a family run Pub which is dog and child friendly. We serve food Wednesday-Sunday and have regular live entertainment on the weekend. We serve a range of ales (Adnams and Woodfordes) as well as Peroni, Amstel, Aspall, Guinness, Becks and Old Speckled Hen.
