Ate dinner here with some Darsham locals - was so pleasantly surprised by quality of food, atmosphere and general location of pub and interior. Will definitely return when we visit our family again in the village (and as husband wants to try the pork belly he eyed jealously on my plate). Good food at affordable prices in a pub is relatively rare these days - but the Fox has nailed it.

This was our second visit after a very successful one a few years ago. The staff, food and service were just as good; and we recommend them for some healthy portioned food at a fair price. We cannot comment on the rooms at all, but would note that a changing table in one of the toilets would be handy, especially as when we came with two under 2s, there were 5 other groups of diners with toddlers.

We pre-booked our mid-week lunch here as part of our older youth group week away in Suffolk. The team worked hard to accommodate the 14 of us and they were super efficient. Everyone loved their meal and I was super appreciative of so many gluten free options on the menu. Thank you so much to the whole team for making our visit so precious.

We stopped at The Fox Inn on our way back from the beach and were so glad we did! Service was fantastic, the cider was spot on, and the food was even better.
They have an excellent gluten-free menu, and the chef was incredibly knowledgeable about coeliac disease ? such a relief when eating out. I had the chicken club sandwich from the lunch menu, while my partner went for the steak & Stilton sandwich. Both were absolutely delicious, and we loved sitting outside in the warm sunshine (a rare treat in England!).
We couldn?t resist sharing the sticky toffee pudding, and it was easily in my top two I?ve had anywhere in England ? rich, perfectly moist, and the ideal finish to the meal.
Definitely worth a visit, especially if you?re gluten-free or just looking for great pub food with warm service.

Lovely food, staff so welcoming, really friendly village pub, had pork belly which was delicious, son had chicken and prawn noodles, food was fresh and tasty, bar service excellent, Guinness was standard but okay, definitely recommend booking a table if your there at the weekend.

We visited the pub to celebrate & shared an amazing meal with friends for one of the friends birthday. I have food allergies so discussed my meal with the staff before ordering steak and chips.
I brought a cake to share and the server asked if I wanted them to sing & bring it out to the birthday boy after our main meal was over & I said yes. And these AMAZING people delivered. The whole restaurant ended up singing along and it was brilliant & hilarious. The birthday boy laughed and shook his head at our shenanigans. But I loved the staff were keen to join in and help me with the surprise. Thank you serving staff at the fox. You were amazing!

Excellent food and service. Staff are incredibly friendly. We had lots of sandwiches, all very good and very substantial. Lovely pub, nice beer garden round the side. Definitely recommend.
