Would love to leave a review but unfortunately we were turned away after an hours drive as they stopped serving at 2pm even though the chalkboard outside said 2.30. Admitted that they confirm times may vary as we were told on concert days it’s 2pm, fair enough JUST RUB OUT THE 30 on the chalk board on concert days so... read full comment

Duck was nice, fish and chips small and overcooked, and the scampi the smallest in the world! Squid ink mash a creative delight. Comfort and service could definitely be improved. Would be reluctant to come again…
The Plough and Sail comprises of a spacious restaurant, the original older part of the pub (of which dogs are welcome), including a cosy snug, and an intimate balcony area, perfect for private parties. There is also seating at the front of the pub and a courtyard area at the back where warm summer evenings and lazy Sundays can be enjoyed. We hope to see you soon!
