Turned up at 4.30ish yesterday ordered X4 cod and chips and mushy peas, it was significantly below the standard we have had before which is a couple of years ago. Very ordinary I'm afraid.

Probably the worst fish and chips I've ever had. The fish was cold in the middle and soggy. The chips were hard as if not cooked for long enough. The best of the meal was the mushy peas and they weren't even the mushy.

Good cafe in the carpark near the sea. Food was good quality and ours was reasonably quick, however we got there just before the queue started to increase substantialy (Sunday 11:30)

A lovely cafe in Dunwich. We had walked along the beach to here and stopped for a drink and some snacks. It was very nice sat in the veranda area watching the world go by.
The next day we stopped here for breakfast in the way home from our camping trip. The Full English was lovely and the food was piping hot.
I would recommend this cafe to anyone visiting Dunwich.

The best fish and chips along this stretch of the Suffolk coast! We always return, and this time I tried the glazed smoked salmon fillet with salad and new potatoes- it was delicious too. The seating outside has some nice views towards Southwold.
We enjoy the fact there are always some Specials if you want something different, and if none take your fancy, you can get the old faithful fish'n'chips. My only gripe is that for eating in prices, ketchup should be provided.

If you're in the area or thereabouts a visit to Dunwich Tea Rooms is a must. Absolutely the best fish n chips
