Great day out, lots of fun in the maze.

Amaizing. All the people in the spooky barn and haunted house were great

We go every year as it is a fantastic maze and has fantastic play facilities. This has expanded from a small hut in a field to somewhere you can spend much longer and get great food and drinks from. The only thing that unfortunately brings it to a four star than 5 is that they don't have an option for family members who maybe want to help look after younger children in the play bit but can't do the maze. It would be great to see a different wrist band offered for play only at a cheaper price and then have someone checking bands near the maze. Otherwise it's a great day out.

As usual, a good family day out. The maze was more challenging this year which was good for the older teenagers. The only downside this year (which is the reason I didn't give 5 stars) was that they stopped handing out pencils with the map so you couldn't trace your path in the maze to see where you had already been. They charge a pretty hefty fee per person for entry so I think they could still include a disposable 'golf scorecard' style pencil with every map to make the maze experience more enjoyable like they used to. Apart from that, a great day out for families, young and old. BTW, it's slightly cheaper to buy tickets online before you get there rather than buying them at the gate.

With two girls aged 7 and 6 we have just completed the Maize Maze. It was a challenge in the smaller maze to find the orange circle (we thought it was Red) but we had a great time. The smaller maze takes around 30 mins to complete. Before starting the larger maze the girls went on the pedal go-karts. They are very well built and strong making them pretty heavy too.. but with a bit of elbow grease they can move quite well. The large maze feels immense! There's 18 points to find and 6 x bird knowledge boards. Once found and stamped you can carry on exploring. This maze takes around an hour to complete. On the site there are also climbing frames and bouncy things for the kids to keep entertained.I recommend taking a bag with a packed lunch. Food is available on site but the costs are high. They have an ice-cream vendor in a horse box. Hot food is available in a restaurant style building next to the entrance, it's table service. There's no "quick and easy" food like sandwiches here. All in all we've had a great day here, the kids are tired but happy so I'll call that a success.

Turns out mazes aren't my thing, but that's unsurprising considering I'm very impatient and hate puzzles/brainteasers REGARDLESS of this we had a fantastic day here and would highly recommend to others. The bouncing pillows are great and my son (7) had loads of turn's on the pedal go-karts.The go-karts are brilliant, far better quality than the plastic kettler type you get, these are easy to pedal and are great fun whizzing around the maze track on!Other bits too to keep the little ones occupied......zip wires, play area, water play and large sandpit. With the entry wristband you can re-enter too so we popped into Southwold for a little while and returned in the afternoon which worked really well.Good value for money

Generally very good for a few hours' entertainment. It's quite an exposed location, so it's pretty windy on a blustery day. The cafe is pretty popular and gets very busy and it's probably worth mentioning that the food is slightly fancy, so a beef sandwich is £8.50 for example. We're pleased we came and our little ones are exhausted afterwards ?

Ols Hall, what a lovely complex, lovely dog friendly walks along the river Blyth. Finishing off in the cafe, which has a wonderful array of food, so far we have had a lovely breakfast and beautiful cheese scones, we will be back for more. The cafe is dog friendly inside and out. It has beautiful views of the river from its elevated position. Also site there is a wonderful children's play area, a great change from the beach. I would very much recommend this lovely place.

Had to park in the 3rd car park so the place is massively over booked. The maize maze was clearly finished several weeks back as there was not much left apart from 2ft rotting twigs so was entirely pointless to call it a maze anymore. I would estimate about 20 kids per piece of play equipment as well to the play area wasn?t much use either unless your child wants to push others out the way. Finally the queue was frustrating as we saw multiple groups just decide to walk in without paying and skipping the 20 minute queue. If we had not already payed in advance we would have left immediately. We?re local to Southwold so it?s a real shame to see profit take precedence to peoples enjoyment. DONT BOTHER COMING HERE

A lovely place to visit with the kids for a few hours. Friendly staff, easy to get to and plenty of parking. The cafe was nice and the food was good, perhaps a bit pricey.Only let down by the fact that you have to pay with a card in the cafe but they?ll happily take your cash in the tip box!

Lovely day. Really easy to follow map. Fun experience. Wonderful cafe on site. Very attentive staff. Plenty for children to do. Also offers picnic tables. Plenty of parking. Very enjoyable couple of hours in the maze and at the café.

Incredibly expensive for what it is. £32 for a family of 4 to enter what is essentially a sparsely laid out, small park and a small maze with no real goal. £6.00 for a sandwich, tangerine and pack of pom bears for kids is mental. The park, considering its price tag - the only thing stopping it being a normal park from a housing estate is the bouncy pillows. Which still doesn't justify its pricetag.Head to the cafe.... £14 for a burger?? £4.50 for a single scotch egg? Rip off.As someone local - this sadly won't be a regular visit for me.

The kids (3&6) had a lovely time at the Maize Maze yesterday. Plenty to keep them entertained - a good half day's entertainment. As well as the mazes there are several climbing frames, a sandpit, zip wire (for 7+) and bouncy pillows. There are also some go karts but they weren't great for the kids as the loose dust ground made it really hard for them to pedal and there's only 2 duos which were in high demand as a result. If you're going because you like go karting - don't bother! We did both the small and main mazes which was a lot of walking for little legs. They were good fun though with things to find along the way and once you're done you can go and claim your lollipops for the kids! Word of warning - the ground is just loose dust in the maze so we all had filthy feet / legs so don't wear your best shoes / clothes! There are several places to get food on site including the main café and another smaller one in the activity area, fish and chip hut, stone baked pizza bar (order using the QR codes dotted about) and an ice cream hut. We ate in the main café which was good food done well both for adults and kids and I got the impression is popular with locals as a go to café. It's situated just next to the Maize Maze so you can use the cafe without paying for entry which clearly lots of people were doing, possibly after one of the local walks. You can eat in or takeaway. There were lots of benches dotted around the main area for picnics which was handy. Parking is free and the toilets on site were clean.

Really friendly and helpful staff. Walking round the inspired and charming coronation themed Maze was over complicated and too long for my two under 10s, so we only completed about a third before the dust & heat drove us off. There were not enough sun shaded spots in the grounds, or picnic benches, but the play area is brilliant. very smart cafe, but we went home for lunch..
