Our large family group had a lovely breakfast for a birthday treat. Pre-booking was easy- staff were friendly and we gave our order in advance so there was hardly any wait

Lovely food - I recommend the open smoked mackerel sandwich. Also enjoyed a scenic dog walk along the estuary. Easy walk into Southwold Harbour and a short hop over the bridge too Walberswick.

My husband and I walked from Southwold and stopped at the Old Hall Café for breakfast ? it was absolutely worth it! The Little cooked breakfast was delicious with really fresh toast, and everything tasted so well prepared. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, which made it extra enjoyable. Such a lovely setting too ? a perfect spot to relax after a good walk. We?ll definitely be back!

You can enjoy fabulous views, food and plenty to keep the little ones entertained. There is ample parking on site or like us you can walk in from Southwold which is very pleasant. The menu is very good offering breakfast before 11 and lunch afterwards. The food is all freshly made so you wait a little at busy times but well worth doing so. There is seating inside and out. Highly recommended.

Lovely setting and views with nice food, though rather pricey. However, would have preferred not to have had to share my lunch with the nine dogs that were also in the cafe during my visit - some were better behaved than others! I appreciate this is a popular dog walking venue, but not great for those of us who like a peaceful meal. Probably won't return.

Been passed this place loads of time, but a great place to stop for a coffee, or snack or meals.
We stopped for a snack and had mackerel on toast, and it was delicious, the best I've had.
The service was prompt and atmosphere good with a great view across the water.
A plus point for me was it was dog friendly.
You can also walk from the farm to southwold from here.
I will definitely be back.

I had breakfast with some friends at Old Hall Cafe this morning and it was excellent. I'm gluten free and most things on the breakfast menu can be done as a gluten free option. I had the Healthy Start - avocado, poached egg and harissa on sourdough. I substituted gluten free bread which was delicious as was the coffee. Easy parking, great views and friendly service, I highly recommend this cafe.

Ordered Sausage, Egg and Chips and a Decaf Coffee.
Nice location with a view across the marshes and the staff were OK, but that is about the end of the positives.
The chips weren't nice and they just assumed I wanted a black coffee, which didn't even taste great when milk was added.
Cost a little over £16, I would only go there again if no other option.

Bit quiet, food and service were good. Plenty of space in the car park.

They didn't ask for any food allergy
I asked a short expresso they bring a long one
And like this is not enough.
"They offer to bring a new coffee I can see through the glass they spill a litle of the same and bring it back with no shame,"
You can see is the pic of your table and still pretending it is not your shop!!!
If you want I still have the bank statement as evidence I was in your location!!!

We had a breakfast with our children here last week having eaten before as a couple. We were disappointed that the menu had changed however remained optimistic. We were firstly quite confused at the lack of children?s options for a place that is clearly geared towards entertaining children. They offered very little for small ones aside a small breakfast; which was still probably too big for a child. We also had to order the adults waffles for our 5 year old as they wouldn?t do a children?s portion the waitress told us. The breakfast came to more than £50 which I thought was pretty expensive considering a fair bit of food was left over.
The second thing was that although we had spent this at the restaurant it didn?t mean you had access to the park. This cost a staggering £10 per child and £15 per adult! Wow. So our children had to stand the other side of a fence watching other kids play just because we were not willing to pay this fee as we didn?t want to stay for more than 30 mins after the breakfast. Yes I understand there needs to be some element of not letting people in for free but it didn?t seem fair to me. It could be a good place to go but I came away feeling ripped-off and disappointed.

Down from Scotland visiting family and we had breakfast before venturing out into the outdoor areas which caters for the young and not so very old ? with the warm weather it is an ideal destination to enjoy everything Old Hall has to offer.
