We stayed at the Ship Inn for 2 nights with 2 rooms while working at Framlingham Country Show. Both rooms were comfortable & quiet with tea/coffee making facilities, fridge, towels, an adequate bathroom with shower and comfy beds. We ate both nights with dishes of sausage & mash, pork loin, lasagna & cod loin. All were delicious and decently portioned. The desserts of Eton mess, sticky toffee pudding & cheeseboard finished the meals off perfectly. There was a good selection of ales and the bar staff both nights were so helpful & welcoming. We?d highly recommend the Ship Inn if you?re in the area and need a base to return to for the evening.

Very traditional rural pub, decent beer, friendly staff, very big into local/folk music, well worth a visit.

Nice quaint local pub. There should be more of these about, unfortunately there aren't because the demographic is changing.

A cracking and traditional country pub. Only popped in for a beer. Was made to feel very welcome and good beer. Definitely will come back when in the area.

We stayed and ate dinner at The Ship Inn
The food was really great. The menu looks a bit unassuming, but everything is really top quality. Well executed and fresh. Far better than most pubs. Special mention for the amazing chunky chips - clearly the product of a lot of care.
Rooms quiet, clean and very comfortable. Peaceful location, well placed for Snape Maltings, Minsmere etc.
Thoroughly recommend. Great meal and stay

Just fantastic hidden gem, great food and mega friendly staff (who make an awesome pims)! Food is classic pub grub but then very modern on specials board. We had cod loin with crayfish and it was A+++ do visit this out of the way classic British pub!

What a find. Real locals pub. Great for kids and dogs too. Excellent fish and chips.
