When in for something to eat and was stood waiting to order food and drinks bar lad and bar girl went from one end bar to other to serve another couple that came in after we had after waiting 10 mins or more at the bar ready to order food and drinks we walked out bar staff totally rude

What a lovely and welcoming country pub. We descended on a Friday night as a large group and Jane looked after us fabulously; the locals seemed a little confused but engaged with us. Good quality and value ‘pub grub’ and hit the spot. Will definitely go back when we are in the area.

The Oyster Inn Butley is a family-run rural pub that has been located in heart of Butley for over 400 years. Surrounded by well maintained walks and in beautiful surroundings.The interior is deceptively spacious and along with the garden is ideal for large parties. Our friendly staff will be happy to offer you a quick and efficient service but please don’t be rushed. We love to make ‘family’ members and we never forget the friendly faces we meet along the way.
