The rib eye steaks were nasty. Tough hard to chew, cheap low grade meat. Have a drink and forget the food.

Stopped here for a lunchtime pint. Absolutely shocked to be told that a pint and a half of beer was £8.80! £6.00 for a pint of local, low strength ale. What a rip-off!

My wife and I had a superb Sunday roast here today. Everything was cooked to perfection. The service was first class and the menu was a sight to behold with a huge variety of meals to choose from. Asking about their week day menu that took was loaded with vast selection of meals which are changed daily. Their specials board was very comprehensive. This was good pub grub of the highest quality at a respectable price.

We dropped in without a booking, hoping for an evening meal, and couldn?t have been happier. The landlady was friendly, the service was fast, and the food was perfect.

I?ve been there now over 10 times and I?ve eaten everywhere local , you won?t find a better place for food and excellent service . Me and my wife have tried many things on the menu and it?s all Fantastic and great value , if you have tried everywhere else , come here and try the best !!!

On our way to Norfolk we stopped for lunch. The food was excellent and homemade. The quality was superb, the taste amazing and the service exactly what one would expect. I had the lasagne and my partner the chicken curry,

Friendly pub. Wide menu choices. Meals are good value. Portions quite generous. Even the Light Bite selection provides enough for a normal appetite.
