What a find this place is! The food and service is outstanding. Just check out the lovely wine selection too. Good value all round. One of our favourite places to eat and drink.

Lovely evening, delicious food with excellent wine. And best of all, the cakes / desserts are well worth the calories!! Delish!! Check this place out.

Murray hosted my daughter & son- in- laws after wedding meal. It was a small gathering of family & friends. We had roast chicken & beef with all the trimmings - it was delicious. We had gluten free & vegetarian options too. Murray had prepared a champagne reception & was attentive throughout. I would thoroughly recommend Murray & the cafè for any small gathering.

LOVELY place for lunch. Such friendly and professional service. Their sandwiches are gorgeous, cakes to die for, lovely coffee and decadent hot chocolate.

Absolute delight of a little village cafe. First visit today was lovely. Girl serving was very friendly and seemed genuinely happy to help, unlike other independent cafes we've been too. Got drinks were very good as was the 3 cakes me had. The board games were a great little surprise, which my 3yo daughter loved getting involved in. Will definitely return in the future!

I had seen the menu on Facebook and was excited to try the food. I ordered a toasted pastrami sandwich for takeaway. What I got was a toastie sized sandwich for £8.50 with two slices of prosciutto instead of pastrami and no salad or crisps as on the menu, making this a very expensive meal. The sandwich, even with prosciutto, was mediocre (could I suggest you only choose one sour element either cornichons or sauerkraut). It might be a good idea to lower the price for takeaway sandwiches if they?re not served with salad and crisps. The person serving me was polite, although it took a long time for the food to be ready with no other customers in the cafe. Overall, a very disappointing experience.

Scrambled eggs!
I recently went to the Boxford Café and Wine Bar for brunch, and let me tell you, the scrambled eggs with feta cheese and chorizo were out of this world! The flavours were just right and each bite was a treat.
Not only was the food great, but the service was excellent. The staff were friendly, attentive, and knew their stuff when it came to the menu.
I also have to mention the beer I had with my meal. I tried the ?Small Beer? and it was so tasty and refreshing. It went perfectly with my brunch.
The menu at the Boxford Café and Wine Bar is small but full of dishes that use, I was told, locally sourced ingredients where possible. There were plenty of interesting wines available too, as you would expect from a wine bar!
The café had a cozy and inviting atmosphere with charming décor that added to the overall vibe of the place. I made use of their outdoor seating and enjoyed brunch in the sun.
On top of all that, the café is in a beautiful historic village with stunning surroundings and local legends. Ask the staff about the lion in a motorcycle sidecar on the village sign!
Overall, I highly recommend the Boxford Café and Wine Bar. The food, service, atmosphere, and surroundings were all above and beyond. I can't wait to go back and try more of their tasty dishes.

A really unique and lovely dining experience! An absolute gem. We joined for dinner, slightly sceptical about the small menu, but it works and we had a fantastic evening. Cosy and intimate, great service, great wine, great food. Will most certainly be back.

Beauitful location on little high street - opposite church, lovely coffee and cake! If we move to the area would try one of the regular (montly) events that hold.

We dropped in for lunch last week with our sister and brother in law. We started with the wheelchair accessibility ( see below)., three of us had sandwiches and coffee while the other had scone and tea. When the sandwiches arrived, they were accompanied by a half bag of mixed leaves and a half bag of crisps. The cost worked out at £10.10 per person. The staff were pleasant enough. The atmosphere at our table was fine and made by ourselves.
Wheelchair accessibility: This is not the most most wheelchair accessible cafe in the world.. There is a single step up and then a raised threshold to negotiate. Saying that as soon as the staff realised that we were coming in, they were there offering what assistance they could. The same for existing the building.

...it looked great from the outside..handwritten signs tempting you in for charcuterie platters, sandwiches, quiches and sausage rolls. There were only two sandwiches on the board....Coronation Egg and BLT..we ordered one of each...silence from the two staff who disappeared....when they came back, they announced apologetically that they had neither eggs nor bacon so neither of the advertised sandwiches were available. However we could have a sausage sandwich if we wanted to wait ten minutes...having already waited ten minutes whilst they had checked their fridges, we declined their kind offer and moved on...hopefully they'll get the message that if you advertise something, you should really have it on the premises.

Had a delicious lunch here today, my tofu salad and my partner?s ham quiche were both delicious. We had a table outside on the pavement overlooking the lovely Boxford high street. We took cakes away, fresh and homemade. Service is friendly and welcoming. Will be back soon!
