I?ve been in the White Hart a few times over the last couple of weeks and I am so impressed with the change from when I last went a year or so ago.
All staff were lovely, the manager Chris especially, went out of his way to make mum feel special on her birthday last month. Service was brilliant even in busy periods and the atmosphere was second to none, have not eaten there yet but will definitely in the near future ?

Always stay here when we go to the races. Fabulous after races atmosphere. Great food, drinks and music. Location is perfect too. Chris is always the perfect host and can?t do enough to help us. We are booked in next month, and for ladies day 2026 ?

Always a great time whenever i visit, great food and value for money, wether there's Djs or Bands on there's always a great atmosphere and all the staff are great and the manager Chris keeps everything in order.. only place to go in Newmarket

LET DOWN.
It was my best friends hen night on Saturday I first came in to ask about the VIP section for the event around 2 months ago. I was told it was free and they everything was booked. It was perfect for what we wanted. We then needed to change the timing due to the second event we were going to. So again I popped in last month to re arrange the timings.
We then arrived Saturday at 3 to start our evening exciting about the night ahead! When we got there the VIP was full of people and I asked why? I was told they had accidentally double booked it and that we could go over to the back of the hotel. We?re on a hen night drinking! There were children and families eating. We wanted our own private space. I was happy to pay to secure it for us but instead we were assured it was all booked! So people if you have an important event do not trust them because twice I was assured we would be fine!

Had such a brilliant experience at the White Hart Hotel in Newmarket!
The hotel itself was cozy, comfortable, and had everything we needed for our stay. We spent the evening in the bar and although it was really busy, the staff were amazing never once making anything feel like an inconvenience. A special mention to Molly behind the bar, who was so friendly, attentive, and kept the atmosphere upbeat all night (with the help of the dj who was playing banger after banger)
Will definitely be coming back and I?d highly recommend it to anyone visiting Newmarket!

We visited The White Hart Hotel in Newmarket on Saturday 16th August, after a summer race day at Newmarket, and it was the perfect place to keep the good vibes going! We were a lively STEN party out with family, and the atmosphere was just what we were after?fun, welcoming, and full of energy.
Huge shoutout to Molly, who gave us absolutely fantastic service. She was warm, attentive, and handled our group like a pro. Nothing was too much trouble, and she made sure we were all having a great time.
The White Hart is a must. Highly recommend!

Rooms overpriced at £131, prob worth £80 as a slightly shabby pub room, bed very comfy.
Check in gave dismissive and uninterested staff member.
Great atmosphere in the bar, not your usual, full of country and western types with stetsons, shades and guns.
Breakfast disaster! Lovely but confused waiter, had to go and remind that we would like to order.
No bowls for cereal and had run out of butter for toast.
Cooked breakfast excellent, smashed avocado very soggy with the bread a mush paste.
Complained to manager and told not to speak to me in that way! Did receive refund tho.
Yes, interesting, makes a change from the usual.

Nice place for stay for one day or longer you've got nice pub next to hotel with very good foot and drinks working late hours also there is a very good location of this hotel close to the train station good access to the taxi and the main town strongly advise to visit this place.
