The best and kindest help from the lady behind the entrance counter who very kindly printed out copies of all my bank statements for the past five years since I opened my current account with Lloyds Bank. Eternally grateful for all your help.

I asked about downgrading my Club Lloyd's account to a classic account. I was told that I can't do it online. I was told to phone a number which is almost impossible to get an answer from.So I managed to do it myself online.

Can I say a big thank you to staff in the Newmarket Branch who on th May took exceptional care of my son when he experienced a panic attack ( PTSD) , very often people think sufferers under the influence of drink or drugs, not in this case the staff could not have been more kind and understanding, sorry in his confused state my son didn't get names, you know who you are Thank you very much.

Lloyd's Bank Newmarket UK: Covid rules and regulations well signposted, masks to be worn. Large airy building, well staffed. Wheelchair access good. Helpful staff member directing customers to appropriate access point. Transaction carried out smoothly and efficiently, plus online cheque and paying in book ordered. Very professional service.

Joe Heale was professional but still easy to talk, he show rare quality of real understanding my personal finances even let me talk about issues which were not directly touching reasons of my visit but help him to understand me even better. He show his interest by checking my account which show that I might have wrong credit card where he was on the spot. Whole meeting exced my expectation for all my issues around loan, credid card, overdraft, insurance and future visit was sorted with ease. I have saved a lot of time by trying to solve the problems by myself not mentioning 1000's of pounds saved on interest. Manager was very warm showing real interest in customer service and satisfaction. Will recommend anyone I know who is bit worried about visiting branch and their finances.

Located on the high street in Newmarket, the main entrance isn't wheel chair accessible, however there is wheelchair access via the rear of the building. There is a cash machine on the high street. The staff are friendly and helpful although they seem under stress to get through the queues as quickly as possible. Staff are promoting customers to use iPad instead of using counters, seems counter productive in my opinion.
