We two steak bake which was hardly warm an we also had a chicken curry bake which was room temperature. Coffee was good.
What happened to the steak bake of the past hot and tasty. Greggs you need to do better. Toilets were good but need a check a little more.
Did I complain at the time?. No I?m a Brit.

Nearly asked for refund while waiting as the filthy condition of the floor and counter began to turn my stomach. Cold, border line carcinogenic bacon on un buttered rolls, yuk! One bite then bin! Never again, where do you get staff who can?t recognise what a bacon roll should look like? Maybe ones that culturally don?t eat such things?

Visited Friday afternoon in December. Both front doors permanently open during our visit. Worst coffee that we have ever had. Dirty floors and tables. Toilets we not clean either. Sat well near the rear of the cafe but still cold and drafty. First Greegs we have ever been in and don't think we will bother again.

Stick to an opening time and commit to it. Drive through most mornings and aim for breakfast, sometimes it's open at 6am, 0630am or 0700am. If you can't commit to an opening time, then plump for 0730.

Good service but food choice can be limited. No sandwiches at all today! The seating area was very unclean . Tables are not cleaned regularly and bins over flowing. I go often as my disabled mum loves a greggs hot sausage roll but it's never clean. Manager please take note thank you

I want to thank Rosaria who served me from the bottom of my heart. I ordered a coffee and also a baguette. When I had to pay for some reason, my card refused the payment even though I have enough money in my account. I felt very uncomfortable and embarrassed. Ms. Rossaria, who served me, told me not to worry and that I could bring the money next time. There are always good-hearted people who can understand the situation. I want to thank you once again for your kindness and understanding . God bless you.

Greggs Newmarket shop is on the main road as you enter Newmarket. There is free parking outside on the road and also a large car park situated behind Greggs where you will find a small shopping centre.
The majority of greggs food is nice, we particularly like the sausage rolls and pizza slices. Worth knowing that the pizza is ready from 11am onwards. There is a restaurant attached to the side of the takeaway area with plenty of seating.

I got a tgtg bag this morning, shop not open,they forgot to alter time to pick up,a lovelly lady did come to door showed her my collection,she made a quick bag up,total of goods in bag should've been 12 pounds,it wasn't, they had given me a bag from night before,items out of date,took pics,,couldn't eat anything,was very upset,out of date food is wrong

Absolute rubbish.Popped in to get a couple of hot !!! sausage rolls and went outside the shop, took a bite and they were cold.They are not cheap to buy. We did go back into the shop and tell them and the woman serving said we would have to wait for a new batch to be cooked..This was around about 10:45am which is a time you would expect them to be hot.Went back in about 12:15pm and bought a couple of pizza slices that were tepid. We did tell the woman serving us and she agreed that the slices were just about warm and if we waited 10mins that she would heat them up for us. We declined her very kind offer and took them home with us.Rubbish service, rubbish food and extremely overpriced for lukewarm food.There are many other eating outlets in the town, I suggest you use them and avoid Gregg's unless you just want to throw away good money on bad food.So after our strange response from Greggs, their suggestion that they will ensure that this doesn't happen again will never happen.The staff look so bored when you talk to them and confused when you ask them something.Maybe employing some staff who look like they enjoy their job would be a start.
