I have been buying and selling here for a few years now and the team is superb, always really helpful and knowledgeable! The team in today 4th Dec were brilliant after a internet issue they found a solution and even called me at home to update me and check details etc, they are a credit to cex!

Refusing to give a refund on a faulty product, will be returning weekly until something is done about it. Telling people to deal with it online is not the answer, some of us need help with those types of things and you just assume everyone can do it. What about the mentally impaired!??? This is abuse.

I have tried to call and enquire about a fix my laptop needs but no one to talk to. Just a message guiding customers towards fb or Twitter. Discriminating by assuming everyone lives their lives online. Ridiculous!Social media is joke!

First time since 2020 I've shopped at here. Now Did a lovely click and collect order from online to store, not much to mess up here. Yet there have, rather than taking responsibility and getting a resolution the Store Manager "Justin" blamed his staff for making mistake and then trying to say I needed to speak to head office to make a complaint rather than actually dealing with it.. Which I can point out was a very simple fix. Will definitely avoid this one in future try another branch maybe Cambridge. I wouldn't give them your money.

Very unimpressed, I came with 3 different items 1 bought from CEX. They rejected 1 outright, then they rejected the item I bought from them previously, then after a very long wait they finally got me all booked in. The kids were going nuts by this point as we'd been waiting so long. I got a call at 3:55pm today (Sunday) saying they couldn't take the nests because they couldn't factory reset them. Never been a big fan of the excessive prices but always thought they were OK at actually buying stuff which other shops don't. They have failed at this point and I think that will be the last time I use them.

A bit like a pawnbroker but really expensive and only in favour of the firm, never the customer!!An example of this extortion would be that would be that they will give you one penny for some DVD's yet sell it for a fiver! ... And the very most basic of Amazon fire TV stinks we'll still cost you 30 quid 30 quid 2nd hand when you can get them brand new and when you can get them brand new for 10 pounds direct from Amazon! ... Daylight robbery in my opinion... When will Newmarket have a pawnbroker again?!

Showed them a perfect phone that we wanted to sell. The assistant told us that there was a slight crack near where the SIM card is inserted and offered us 1 (one) penny.He should have said "Not suitable for us, thank you". Offering 1 penny is insulting and shows bad manners.

This store scammed me out of £27 I tried to return a faulty product for them to tell me it was meant to be like that and that if I wanted any money back I would have to sell the item back to them they will resell this item and scam another person disgusting behaviour I have contacted trading standards and plan on taking legal action what they are doing is illegal and I will be holding them accountable
