Lovely farm shop, bit pricey but some unique things, local produce.Nice boutique shop, not wheelchair accessible but rest of site was, including toilet. Plant area. Animals to look at.Lovely cafe with interesting menu,lovely barn setting.

Went to the cafe for coffee and scone which was lovely. Great little place to eat. It was a frosty morning and my only complaint is that it was chilly in the cafe. Had to keep coat on.

Very poor breakfast, greasy cold hard fried eggs, only one rasher of bacon which tasted like it was cooked a long time ago, sausages undercooked, very unimpressed, young waitress, nice but, didn?t ask how my breakfast was until she came to collect plates, staff talking to each other rather than checking customers are ok. Will not be returning, they discounted my unsatisfactory breakfast to £14.50? Not sure how much discount that was . Very unsatisfactory

Visited yesterday and I had mushrooms on sour dough which was lovely, hot and eggs were cooked to perfection. However my partner's ham, egg n chips was "disgusting" according to him (I thought it looked awful too.) His eggs were hard/overcooked, the ham was warm and the portion size was fairly small. He didn't like to complain as we were with family and he's not one to make a fuss though he said after he wish he'd said something. We ate here last year and he had the ham, egg n chips and said it was much nicer then. My cousin had the loaded fries which looked amazing just a shame they only offer it on menu with bacon n chicken. You are missing a trick Alder Carr as non meat eaters would love this I'm sure if you offered a non meat version.

Visited Alder Carr Farm for the first time last week. Enjoyed a club sandwich with chips in the cafe with my son and friend. Great meeting point with good facilities.

£10.50 for a sausage sandwich! 2 slices of bread, a sliced sausage, a handful of crisps and a spoonful of salad leaves. Do we have inflation in the UK?!

Lovely coffee and cakes ,nice farm shop ,brought the best Bakewell cake ive ever tasted in the shopOnly down side was ..i found the back of the restaurant a little dark could do with a little more lightingOther than that it would have been a five star

Sells dog food and treats in the shop but doesn?t allow dogs and wants you to sit outside only in the cafe in some cold pavilion. Shame it?s not dog friendly.
