The Saturday I went in was crazy busy and there were IT issues but the staff were still very professional and pragmatic. During my follow up session, where it was a lot calmer, staff kindly checked all the details for me and confirmed everything that needed to be done, was.

From start to finish at Mildenhall Boots Opticians i was welcomed with open arms, the staff where friendly, smiley and no questions where a problem. The Optician could not have been nicer, he went out of his way to help me, one lady helped me pick out my glasses ( which I only bought because for the first time EVER I was not pressured into buying from them) All in all for me it was a great appointment, my first great Optician appointment. Katherine, Penny and Gayan were amazing- so welcoming and really put my 4 year old at ease. I really couldn't have asked for more. My son even said 'i'm really enjoying my eye test.'

It's wonderful to be remembered and greeted by name when you arrive. All of the staff are professional yet friendly and explained everything as aptly as possible. That means not talking down to or talking at you, and not failing to describe issues and reassure you about them. They also make you feel part of their/our community. That if you have a emergency eye health problem, you can call them for help or advice. The OCT scan was invaluable for showing issues that could be problematic in future...it's not all good news but forewarned is forearmed so we can make better choices. And there's just enough space, care and attention when it comes to choosing new glasses. How you wear them, protecting your purchase, what you actually need..discount for multiple pairs etc. Katherine was great. Everyone was.

I?ve booked contact lenses eye test with free trial for 29£ to get my prescription, I took it and in the end after I?ve paid not only I didn?t get contact lenses for trial but , they said I need to book another appointment for contact lenses and pay another 50£ to get prescription,come on?.. just disappointed
