While the garden setting was perfect for a late lunch the small portion sizes and high prices really let the place down. The iced coffees priced at £3.75 come in a small IKEA glass half full of ice, the cuts of the cake are small for £4+ and the sandwich which was priced at £7.50 was two very thick pieces of bread, a tiny bit of cheddar and a dash of pickle, very overpriced for mostly bread in my opinion. I compare this to Weavers Tearoom in Peasonhall I visited the week before and while the prices are the same the portions where much larger and I didn't leave hungry. It's a shame as the tea room, gardens and staff themselves are all great, would only return if they increase the portions slightly.

Went with my mum in a wchr, everything accessible as stated on their site. Lovely staff, food and drinks. We shared the granary brie and cranberry toastie ( next time we will have it as a sandwich as a bit too crispy for us, although very tasty!) We sat inside as a chilly day, but the garden looks an awesome place for a better day! You walk through the nursery area and everything is so well displayed. We will be back, what a hidden gem ? ?

After making purchases at the adjoining nursery I do enjoy a coffee and cake. There is a lovely selection of food to be had here and can be enjoyed inside outside in the hidden garden. Good friendly service

Lovely little independent cafe in the pretty surroundings of a good independent plant nursery and garden. Nice non corporate atmosphere, friendly service but rather limited light lunch menu.

I don't think I'd go again, the cake and coffee were ok but service was slow.

I booked an afternoon tea here for a friends birthday, I?d not been before despite living nearby. The food was absolutely superb, a real special treat. We had a lovely relaxed time, the staff were all really friendly and helpful and we took the leftovers home in boxes as there was such a generous array of sandwiches, cakes and scones.Afterwards we enjoyed a wander around the gift shops and nursery, pleasantly surprised by the prices of everything and came away with an armful of pots and plants. Highly recommend a visit to this little gem of a place.

Lovely little coffee shop, selling lunches and cakes. Had a cheese and ham toasty which was very tasty. Unfortunately weather meant it was too cold to look around garden centre so will have to return.

Fabulous cheese scone and delicious coffee. It was a bit chilly in the room but we were there shortly after it opened and by the time we left, the wood burner was blazing. Gorgeous cards and gifts to buy, as well.Parking: Parking right outside - just as well as it was tipping down with rain.
