Excellent friendly staff, offering a true personal service. It was the first time I have visited them, my optometrist was Matt, lovely guy who is very knowledgeable and explained everything methodically. A really great experience and would definitely recommend.

We visited here for the first time yesterday for my teenage daughters eye test. Matt was our optometrist and he was fantastic. Really professional, and for us a chair side manner is so important and Matt is superb and so friendly. We also received a very warm welcome by the receptionist. We don?t live locally to this branch but had been recommended to Matt and will be using Patrick and Menzies in Manningtree from now on. Highly recommend this Opticians.

Excellent customer service. I sat on my frames by accident and a lens popped out so I called. I was given an appointment straight away and optician fixed my glasses without charge. Very grateful. Highly recommend.

Worth noting that many reviews relate to the old Piper & Priem practice (which I can't comment on). For me, my recent service experience at Patrick & Menzies was spot-on. Decent availability for appointments; good appointment (Matt, knowledgeable and enthusiastic) and good support with frame/lens choices. Nice to support local businesses to boot.

Rename the practice as F1 opticians. You literally can get an eye test in 3minutes(litterally). Avoid and go somewhere else (specsavers or vision express) where you can actually get an eye test.

I have used this opticians for years and have had nothing but great service. If you want flashy surroundings and expensive glasses then please go to the likes of specsavers!!!I fail to see how the other reviewers had such poor service, but then they are probably professional moaners!!!!!

Seriously do not come here. I went here twice knowing something was wrong but thy kept denying. As the saying goes, "should've gone to specsavers." so I did. I now have classes and know I have a blind spot. If you want real help do not come here.

Awful service again put solution tip on both eyeballs and blamed me for moving second and last time using this optician stuck in the 1950s
