Having read previous reviews about bed bugs, I checked my bedding upon arrival. I noticed a number of dark spots on the mattress in my first room, which looked like the shells of mites or bugs.
The receptionist immediately offered me another room, but the bedding there was also unclean, with what looked like black spots and grime.
At that point, I wasn't willing to risk a third room and promptly left. I am not a clean freak, but the lack of cleanliness was a concern. I decided not to stay and would not recommend this hotel.

Do not book this hotel! We booked one night to stay near family. We travlled 200 miles with 3 children. We arrived at 4:30pm to be told that there were no available rooms and the hotel had been overbooked. They had tried to ring us but not until 4pm, this was despite knowing there was a problem the night before! They were 3 rooms overbooked, 2 of ours and another family too. We were just expected to go to the Travelodge in Great Yarmouth instead where they had reserved rooms for us. We were not asked if we wanted this. Great Yarmouth was not convenient for our plans as was in the opposite direction to were we needed to be. We spoke to a very rude manager on the phone called Robyn. She didn't care that our two SEND children were highly distressed by this. We did not get an immediate refund, they refused to book us somewhere closer to where we needed to be, despite the fact it says on their policy that they can do this. We were left standing in the car park with 3 children having to find a new hotel ourselves. What an absolute disgrace. No awareness of disability and no common decency in how to treat people. The manager Sam knew from the previous night but did nothing and the poor receptionist was left to deal with the issue. There were no managers on site and the one on the phone didn't care a bit. Shocking service. We will never use a Travelodge again!

Located near to a Harvester. Big Tesco across the road and near to Macdonalds.
Check the bed before you unpack as there was an infestation of bedbugs ( at least 4 rooms ) when we stayed there in July 2025.

Convenient. Opposite to Tesco and next to a Harvester, McDonald's drive through and petrol station and buses near so an ideal location. Comfortable rooms.

Grim. Public hair in the shower stall. Nail clippings on the floor beside the very uncomfortable chair. One night was enough and will not be repeated!

We stayed for 2 nights along with our dog. Location is excellent, close to some lovely beaches. Everything you need is within walking distance. Harvester, McDonald's, Beefeater and Tesco. Our room was ground floor no 15. On entering there was a smell of dirty toilets. The bathroom did have a constant smell of stale urine. Kept the door closed so it didn't waft through but the it was overpowering when we used the bathroom. On the Friday night, there was a bit of noise from cars driving around the McDonald's car park, however it stopped by midnight. No noise on Saturday. If staying again I would request a room at the front of the hotel. Friendly young lad when we checked in but apart from that we never saw anyone on reception.

WiFi is complete rubbish! Do not rely on it! After 20 minutes of trying to pay for 48 hours for £6 I discovered the speed was useless I was getting about 2-3mbps I rang Virgin Media and got a refund now I?m using data from my 5g connection on my phone which now I?m getting 90mbps

Fantastic hotel to stay at. Very clean rooms, very friendly staff. Comfortable beds, decent pillows. Woke up very refreshed
