Mostly closed, I think because of the time of year, but unusually at the sea side toilets free to use, and clean, the main cafe was open and we enjoyed a nice un rushed coffee, very polite and helpful staff.

Excellent venue, really great programme of events and very supportive for local companies. We saw A Christmas Carol there and it was superb. Staff are friendly and welcoming. A proper gem in Lowestoft?s cultural life. Well worth a visit. If you haven?t been before I?d thoroughly recommend it.

they don't look after the safety of its vendors.
they don't keep promises to groups using the venue on a regular basis. eg advertising
staff start tidying up before closing time and make you feel uncomfortable. eg moving tables and chairs and closing doors even when very hot.
groups that use the venue every week are asked to move outside in favour of council meetings and so called more important people. eg council meeting about funding for the arts
