Terrible service at this store. Most of the employees are completely unhelpful. I had one positive experience with a manager here, but when she?s not here the employees are absolutely useless. Had to leave and couldn?t even do my shop today because no one would help me locate a suitable trolley for my twins. They are supposed to have 5. They only have 1 and never know where it is. Managers have said customer service will help me locate it, but they never do. What a waste of time. I usually spend £250/week or more but will be finding somewhere else to do my shopping.

Went to the cafe today for a tea and a toastie, I had tuna, spring onion and cheese, it was lovely, the best toastie I've had, lots of cheese on the outside, I would highly recommend it.

We went into this store at about 10pm tonight looking for a specific item that was on promotion. This was the second Tesco we went to and we had had no luck. We asked a member of staff called Terry and asked her if they had what we were looking for. Terry went above and beyond for us by checking the item?s availability in other stores, recommending where we should try, telling us the stores distance and closing times and even looking for numbers for the stores to check they stocked the item. Thanks to Terry?s help we found what we were looking for in another store. Give this lovely lady a raise!

Visited store at 20.52pm to return an item of clothing bought earlier in the day. It had been placed on an incorrect size hanger. Approached customer service desk where a member of staff was pulling down shutters on the cigarette counters. Asked to return item. Response was - ? no customer service closes at 9 ?. I advised her that it was only 8.55pm. Her response was - ? well I?m busy as I have to lock everything up ?. Attitude was horrendous.
I then spent an hour shopping, struggling down the aisles as they are full of trolleys waiting to stock up shelves, I was unable to use a scanning gun as they too are unavailable at 9pm. When going to pay for the full trolley of shopping I find that there are no cashiers on the tills, advised by self check out that they too stop at 9pm. Attempted to put all the shopping through on the self scanner but errors kept occurring and needing a supervisor to assist, it was taking so long. During this time not one member of staff offered to help, they were not busy and could see it was difficult trying to fill bags on a small bag area. I felt so stressed and irritated by their lack of customer care. Will never shop there again with such bad customer service.

Really well stocked and clean and tidy store, we were able to get everything we wanted at the start of our holidays
The only negative was although the lady that served us on the checkout was very pleasant she yawned constantly throughout!!

Look I have been going to the Lowestoft Tescos since it first opened, and I have to say they have abandoned local shoppers, I was trying to do our usual weekly shopping today and could hardly move for the trolley dollies, it is getting ridiculous trying to avoid them, if they put as many people on the tills as they do with the delivery trolley people, the shop would be a better place, may I add the people loading these trolleys have NO consideration for the in store shoppers, shame on you Tescos, you have forgotten your cor shoppers.

Stopped by about 7pm and found most if not all the frozen food shelves empty due to routine cleaning. Asked an employee why this wasn't done out of hours but they couldn't have been less interested. Looking forward to when Sainsbury's open their new store so there's more competition which might drive up standards because this Tesco superstore seems to have lost the plot - to make money.
