Staggeringly rude and clueless cashier who claimed that they don't offer the basic services, like bank deposits, that every other post office does. Their own signage disagreed.

Used to have a proper post office area at the back with a very professional lady operating it. It has now been squashed at the end of the counter with the one lady working the till and the post office. She is very officious. I won't go there again I prefer the properly run one at Ashburnham Way.

A member of staff started an argument with me about postal services while serving another customer. No appology to me or the other customer.

Post office shuts at 5PM. Dizzy woman behind the till doesn't know how to work the post office computer. Get your parcels delivered elsewhere.

Terrible experience. After the closure of the Westwood Avenue PO I visited this PO on other people?s recommendations. I wanted to post a parcel and two letters to Europe. On arrival at the PO counter I found it closed with a shabby cardboard sign directing people to the normal shop checkout. The normal checkout in the shop offer limited services which didn?t seem to include what I needed and one person was trying to deal with normal shopping and PO business and the queue was around the shop.

Incompetence or laziness, I'm not sure which. Just like someone else commented, I went here due to the closure of the P.O. in Westward Avenue. The new one near me is not open yet and I didn't have much time. So, at around 7.30am, I checked the information on Pakefield P.O. on line and found it opens at 7am. I thought I'd better check, so I tried to phone several times. Each time, the number was not recognised (I did double-check the number too). Trusting the P.O. information on line, I braved the morning traffic, getting there at around 8am, only to be told the P.O. counter at the checkout is now closed, and the 'official' P.O. counter won't open until 9am. I told the assistant of my findings on line and my attempts to phone; she told me she didn't hear it. I explained why she didn't hear it. To be fair to the lady, I'm sure it isn't her fault and she did apologise. It's very simple P.O., if you're going to make changes, at least have the decency to amend your information on line and have a working phone number! I'm just home after further time wasted in traffic jams and absolutely infuriated. What a way to run a business!
