I have always had very helpful service at this bank. All the staff I have interacted with have been friendly, courteous and helpful. I am very thankful we still have the bank there and such good staff.

I witnessed the staff handle a rather demanding customer today. They managed the situation really professionally, while apologising to those of us who were queuing and also enquiring whether there was anything they could deal with to help move things on. Very impressed.

Found myself in financial difficulties and tried asking for help and support. They couldn't have shown any less interest in my issues and wouldn't stop the accelerating overdraft charges.Left for Nationwide. One of the very best decisions I've ever made.

Awful service.... Internet informs Lloyds is open in Lowestoft. Internet also informs Lloyds is temporarily closed for deep cleaning due to Covid 19 outbreak. OK, simple call the number on the Internet to find out... anything but simple, recorded message wants my account number sort code memorable info. Excuse me, all I need to know Is LLOYDS OPEN Internet info is contradictory. Third attempt I get put through to a Q to speak to a human. 3 mins later a human asks me my account number sort code and I stop him right there with is Lloyds bank lowestoft reopened since its covid closure end of June. He couldn't possibly tell me I'd have to look on the Internet.... could he please give me the telephone number of Lloyds Lowestoft then I could find out for myself? Shock horror, not allowed to do that... I am baffled is it a bank or somewhere Sacred? So I ask him if he would please call Lowestoft on my behalf, after a bit of chuntering in disapproval he agrees and asks me to wait for 3 mins. Good to his word he comes back to tell me Lloyds Lowestoft has reopened. What a palava, what a waste of time - customer service in this area needs serious improvement.

Only 1 person on the tills, meaning queuing for up to half an hour. Ridiculous when I need to get to work! The staff however are lovely.
