I?ve been a member now since March 2023 and I really enjoy it here. Never did I ever think I would turn into that person that loves the gym, but I really do enjoy coming to Bannatynes. I do the classes more than going in the gym but I do venture in there more often now, and I also take my work with me to work too sometimes. Working from home, it?s nice to be able to work elsewhere and this is a perfect environment for me.
The staff are superb, always friendly, the class instructors are brilliant and the people that go to Bannatynes are so lovely, I?ve made friends here and it?s just a really lovely place to be and I always feel great when I leave.

The actual gym equipment itself is fine and plentiful as well as the staff are obviously nice and well liked by the members.
However, the on going long term maintenance issues as well as unreactive response times are super frustrating with broken cable machines, water fountains and a cold pool.
Additionally, the changing rooms are in an enormous need of renovation. Again, broken lockers, mouldy showers and just generally not very aesthetically pleasing.

Kirstie was incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful. The facilities look great and can't wait to sign up when I move over.

Great gym , im a regular and never been disappointedAlways clean , staff are very welcoming always and great facilities an all round great ,friendly ,training atmosphere.

The pool is freezing. We used to be a member of Norwich then moved to Lowestoft and joined however the pool is so cold? and we can?t use Norwich unless we pay £48 a month rather than £38 really bad service. Should be same pool temp and same price accords Bannatynes

We joined here in December as new to the area. Its very good value as back home you are looking at £150 for my husband and i per month. Unfortunately due to unforseen circumstances we are moving back. We cancelled our membership but the move has delayed so Kristina was so kind to set us up for another month. Really friendly staff and pool is always nice and quiet. Thank you Bannatyne Lowestoft. We will miss you!

Have now been a member for over 3 weeks. On my first day Claire was happy to show me around and helped to ease my anxiety. An amazing range of classes with great teachers. Fitness instructors are happy to help you set goals and teach you how to use the machines and set workout plans. The pool is good and I love using the steam room after. Very happy with the Bannatyne Group and I get an NHS discount!

A fun Aqua Aerobics class tonight. The facilities here are very good, I particularly like the pool. There's always a friendly welcome.

Expensive for what you get, if you just want a gym, then go somewhere else, or at least visit at the time you plan to go and have a look around to see how busy it is. For the price I would expect more equipment, some sections of the gym are always in use so it's hard to do your own workout, the staff are great and friendly, it's nice and clean, the technology/facilities are great but unless you want classes and a pool you can join somewhere else for half the price and not have to wait for some sections.

Went for a look around. Very friendly staff. Amazing changing rooms. Gym on 2 levels.Cafe has lots of seating.Only reason not given 5 is pool though lovely isn't as big as I thought it would be, but stunning overall.

Always a good experience going to Bannatynes, pool,steam room and jacuzzi especially good today all working although it's not always the case

Bannatyne is really fantastic since I've signed up on Tuesday. They show me where the gym is and the staff are really friendly. it's good I can go back for swim and gym after been stuck indoors for 2 weeks since SLT gone bust.
