This is one of our favourite teashops in the area and one I would continue to visit in either summer or winter the goods on sale are so good!
The teashop itself is very atmospheric. There are several areas and little ?snugs? for any party size. There is also an outside area which is very sweet.
The welcome you get from the staff is lovely. You honestly feel like nothing is too much trouble.
We were welcomed into one of the areas which boasts a long sharing table - lovely for groups of friends - but on this occasion it was just my husband and I.
There were lots of delicious looking homemade cakes available but as we were nearly lunchtime both of us chose savouries.
I had a cheese scone which was served with cream cheese and the best chutney I have had in a long time. The scone was wonderfully fresh; obviously made that morning - and that?s what sets this place apart from other teashops. The produce is always fresh.
My husband had a bagel with chicken salad. It was generously filled and looked very appetising. Again you know that this has been freshly prepared and not previously done and left.
All in all another great visit. Thank you!

Popped here Saturday last week with my mum. The staff were so friendly and even put together a board of what we wanted as a sort of mini afternoon tea, nothing was an issue. How a tea room should be run. The savoury scone I had was unreal, can?t wait to return.

My friend and I called in today at 2.30pm hoping for a savoury bite to eat for lunch. Even though it was nearly closing time and they didn't have much left (they had been super busy!) the staff made us feel so welcome and accommodated us. We enjoyed a delicious warm cheese scone with cream cheese and chutney and sausage roll with a pot of tea for two. The venue was cosy, warm and it was a relief to get out of the cold, biting wind outside. We will be revisiting and I recommend a visit!

Had my baby shower here and it was so lovely! They couldn?t do enough, constantly supply or drinks and the food was delicious and there was so much! The atmosphere is so cozy. So thankful for all that was done I had a lovely day and the all the staff was amazing.

Me and my wife came here for breakfast while visiting Long Melford and had a really nice time. The cafe was really nice and cosy. The lady behind the till and the waitress were very helpful and respectful. We had a beef bagel and home made sausage roll and those were very tasty. Coffee was tasty too. I highly recommend this cafe ! Thank you.

Great selection of cakes and other food. Recommended !Long time since previous visit.Cake selection ok, all other aspects have reduced in quality and efficiency of service.This was a take away experience, cant speak for eating in.
