Stayed here for business trip. This place is like Fawlty Towers! Such a shame. I spent a long time looking at reviews and this hotel had (mainly) good reviews. The first room I was put in was huge and lovely, but the toilet constantly was refilling and it was too noisy to sleep. I complained to the receptionist who didn?t appear surprised, and instantly moved me to a smaller room elsewhere in the building. I thought this was poor. At this stage I was too tired to argue and went to dinner (which was lovely) before retiring to the room for a hot bath. When I got back there - no water was working in the room. I went back to reception where the lady got the manager. The manager came out and advised that there was a ?water problem? and it was ?out of her control?. She simply shrugged her shoulders and suggested the water might be back on later tonight.
The toilets don?t even flush - so I?m sitting in my room with toilet waste directly next door in the toilet still. Never seen anything like it.
I cannot stress how disappointed I was with this place. My advice? Spend your money elsewhere because this place is a shambles.

James Braid wouldn?t be happy with the condition of the course. Fairways and bunkers very very poor, greens good. I?ve played here a few times over the years and this is the worst I?ve seen the course.
We didn?t stay in the hotel but we did eat after golf. Food was good and the staff very efficient and friendly.

Totaly recommend. Dont miss the breakfast but dont expect a proper cappuccino either :) their beer is better than their coffee. The room was spacious and clean, the lounge and lobby had the best vibe. Too bad their is bird shit all over around the venue.

Unfortunately it was the worst food I?ve had in a long time ! , we came back after our last visit was superb however today Saturday the 12th July 25 it was awful , tables were sticky , welded on ketchup on the table numbers , wife asked for a Pimm?s Bar man said there?s no strawberries cucumber anybody knows Pimm?s
And as for the food words fail me !
The staff were very apologetic but I won?t be returning or passing on good feedback

The overall golf break experience was very good. The food in the restaurant and bar is excellent however the rooms given to those on a golf break could do with some TLC

I recently visited with 35 friends and found the service and food to be very good, both in quality and in value.
Sadly though even after making allowances for the recent prolonged dry spell, the golf course is in overall poor condition and requires some skilled tlc to bring it up to the standard the layout deserves.
This is based on three visits over the last 12 months at different times of the year.
That said a very good venue for a large party of golfers.
